Mars in Libra’s flirtatious efforts will not impress Moon in Scorpio. She may view him as a fly that needs to be swatted, and he’ll be out of his depth with her intensity. Any connection that is made will depend on other factors in their charts. If these two do come together, Scorpio’s needs will continually push Libra out of his comfort zone, while his ability to chat up anyone will trigger her jealousy.

Mars in Libra wants to be your lover, as long as everything stays manageable. He does have an unacknowledged desire for a bit of conflict (this is Mars, after all), but it’s carefully dusted in sugar. Mars in Libra excels at polite, strategic challenges: if you want to dance with him and mix in a little spice, he’s up for it, as long as things don’t get ugly.

Moon in Scorpio needs a raw emotional life. Deeply, devouringly passionate, nothing satisfies her like the exposure of ugly secrets. As far as Moon in Scorpio is concerned, the real bonding in a relationship doesn’t begin until both partners have their (metaphorical) skins peeled back. Her instinctive drive is to merge, and this can’t happen unless her partner opens himself up completely.

Assuming these two can get past the glaring differences in their approach to relationships, it will be a tricky match that tests them both. Moon in Scorpio will continually push Libra to go deeper, which will make him extremely uncomfortable. This is not the type of light, sexy conflict he signed up for. Scorpio will be dissatisfied with his efforts, and she won’t be comfortable (at all) with his ability to flirt with everyone. If these two are going to make it work, each will have to make a significant effort to understand where the other is coming from.
