Tarot Tuesday: The Long Bridge, Three Cards, Six Years

A sextile is a bridge, not a door. Nothing opens. Something becomes crossable.
Neptune and Pluto are building one, plank by plank: thirteen exact passes from July 25, 2026 to February 2032, and today is the second plank. A sextile only pays out if you walk it, which is why the slow ones get missed. Nobody feels a plank.
So today’s spread is three cards in a line, left to right, and the line is the bridge. The first card is the far bank: what the July pass opened. The second is where you are standing today. The third is the near bank you cannot see yet: where this lands by 2032. Lay them in that order. Do not turn the third one over until you have sat with the first two.
Deal it now if you have a deck. If you don’t, pull three at SASS Tarot and lay them the same way.
🛶 THE FAR BANK, JULY: Six of Swords
A capybara sits on a raft with her pups tucked against her, six swords planted upright in the boards behind them, the water ahead pale and calm and the water behind already gone. She is not looking back. Six of Swords is the card of passage: you are already leaving, you just have not turned around to say so. July was when you stopped needing something, and you did not mention it to anyone, including yourself.
🦢 THE PLANK, TODAY: The Star
A swan drifts on a dark pool under one enormous star, the water lit from above, the near bank white with frost. The Star is Neptune’s card. It does not announce anything; it refills. Today asks what you are pouring into, and whether it is the same pool it was in July, because the answer is the only thing this pass actually changes.
🦅 THE NEAR BANK, 2032: Judgement
An eagle crosses a frozen lake at first light, wings wide, the ice below already breaking into open water while the mountains behind still hold their snow. Judgement is Pluto’s card: the version of you that answers when called. That is who is standing on the other bank. Lay it down last and give it a minute before you read it, because you are not supposed to recognize it from here yet.
Now read the bridge, not the cards. If the first and the third share a suit, the crossing is a straight line and you already know the direction. If they do not, the middle card is doing all the work, and that is your assignment until the third pass.
Which card did you want to skip? That is the one the bridge is made of.
