In many ways, this week’s forecast feels a little more like an in-between place rather than an actual destination. Saturn is still slowly grinding retrograde towards the final (but not exact) square to Uranus. That aspect is providing that heavy, ominous background grinding sound so many of us seem to be feeling lately. Don’t panic though: if you made it this far, you’ve seen worse in your time. Sometimes it’s good to have a week like this. There may not be any dramatic news stories in these transits but there are some useful opportunities to get things together, or at least to prepare if you see any storms coming your way in the next few weeks.
Mars continues through the first half of Taurus, on the buildup to the potentially freaky and weird conjunction with Uranus — but that doesn’t happen until next week. Nonetheless, there’s some tension building because of it. We are now entering a period where moodiness and irritability are more likely to break out. Try not to start any shoving matches. Mars in Taurus may be passionate but once unleashed it can be a real menace.
On Wednesday, we have a Full Moon in Capricorn. You all likely already know that a Full Moon has a reputation for bringing mental and emotional upsets. This particular Full Moon is worth keeping a special eye on in that regard. This Full Moon lands very close to the exact location of the late 2019 Saturn-Pluto conjunction. Did you notice how shortly after that the wheels fell off the wagon as far as the world in general (and quite possibly) your life specifically? Don’t be too surprised if, by the end of the day on Wednesday, you are revisiting some of those issues: literally, figuratively, or at least emotionally.
As for love and affection in general? Venus spends the week making her way through the final degrees of Gemini. Although it is never really considered to be one of the “heavy hitter” placements for Venus, the anaretic or final degree of any Sign is inherently a powerful place. Venus hits the last degree of Gemini on Sunday before it moves into Cancer. It may be a bit of a cliche to say something about talking someone into something but this weekend is a prime time for exactly that sort of thing. Choose your target and use your words.
