In astrology, the way romance plays out in any given week is based largely on the condition of Venus and Mars. Venus is in a particularly interesting place right now. Sagittarius is generally considered to be an outgoing and fun-loving place for any planet to be. But when you consider that it is ruled by Jupiter, and Jupiter is now in Aquarius and turns direct on Monday, this could be an excellent time to get out and have some fun. Remember that when a planet performs a station (comes off the retrograde and more or less grinds to a standstill before moving forward), it is especially powerful.
This is especially good news for Venus when you consider that the modern ruler of Aquarius is Uranus, and it is in Taurus… which Venus rules. Think of it as “a good times feedback loop.”
(Oh and yes, lucky you, Mercury ends it retrograde on Monday too. Time to find something else to blame when things go wrong!)
On Wednesday, there is a Full Moon in late Aries, and it is receiving a sextile from Jupiter. All the usual warnings about Full Moons and werewolves and mood swings apply. You’ll be surprised how hard it may be to resist the temptation to shout loudly at the neighbors through a megaphone until they call the cops on you.
If Venus is the “sweetness and light” side of romance, then Mars represents the sex. This week, Mars is getting a major boost from an aspect that will make it feel even friskier than usual. The entire Mars mood for this week (and for next week) is influenced by Mars square Pluto, which is exact on Friday. This can bring with it tremendous drive and sexual energy. It may not be comfortable. It may not be pretty. But it will certainly pack a punch. Be careful where you invest that energy.
Finally, on Saturday, the Sun leaves Libra and enters Scorpio. Say what you will about Scorpio, but it’s generally considered to be a lot more upfront than Libra. If you want to make some breakthroughs in your personal life, now would be a good time. And if not? Well, the breakthroughs might just happen without you anyway. Don’t get left behind!
