If this week doesn’t exactly mark a total march to victory for your personal lives, at least it can provide an opportunity for some relief. First of all, we all managed to make it through the second exact hit of Saturn square Uranus last week, and although that aspect is still hanging heavily over everyone, we should be grateful that the peak is behind us. Feel free to come back and complain about it again when it’s exact one more time in December.
On Tuesday, Mercury retrograde comes to an end. Of course there’s still that whole “shadow period” thing to struggle through. But again, the worst of it is over. Back to blaming all your malfunctions on something else, folks!
This week’s romantic outlook is dominated by two major Venus aspects to a couple of the outer planets. First on Monday, Venus in Cancer is trine Neptune in Pisces. This aspect makes your dreams a little dreamier, and can open you up to new romantic possibilities. Just keep in mind that Venus trine Neptune can be a little like anesthetic. Sometimes it’s exactly what you need, and sometimes it’s exactly the thing you shouldn’t be messing with (no matter how much fun it may feel like at the time). If you are entering a new relationship, do your best to do so with your eyes wide open. If you are reevaluating a current relationship, try not to cut the other person too much slack that they don’t actually deserve.
Okay, I’ve changed my mind on that. Sometimes we all need a little slack. See how indecisive Venus trine Neptune can be?
While that aspect is still in full effect, on Wednesday Venus is opposite Pluto. Whereas Venus trine Neptune was all dewy-eyed and happy to see you, Venus opposite Pluto is potentially demanding. The longings get longer, and the lonely nights feel lonelier. Keep in mind that with the world largely “opening up” and people getting back to the idea of socializing in person, that the first person you meet who is friendly to you may not necessarily be Prince or Princess Charming.
If you’re a fan of big emotional drama, you will be pleased to know that Thursday brings us a Full Moon at three degrees Capricorn. More specifically, that Full Moon is in a loose sextile to Uranus in Taurus, so don’t be surprised if the werewolves bite a little harder (and stranger) than usual this time around.
Are you amused and entertained by all of the things that have mysteriously fallen apart or haven’t come together for you in the last few months or so? Then I have good news for you! Neptune is about to turn retrograde at 23 degrees Pisces. Depending on the aspects this makes to placements in your birth chart, this could either be good news or bad news. Really, there is an equal chance of it being one or the other, but we always seem to forget the good news, and focus on the bad news. And there’s often a tendency among astrology fans to fret over vague possibilities that rarely pan out.
Finally, on Sunday, Venus enters Leo. If you weren’t a fan of the relatively cuddly and wholesome vibe that comes with Venus in Cancer, you’re going to love all the flair and drama that comes with Venus in Leo. It’s a good time to get out, party down, have fun, and plan some pleasant surprises for yourself or someone else. Enjoy that vibe while it lasts. Just don’t come crying to me a couple of weeks from now, when Venus is opposite Saturn in Aquarius and everything starts to generally suck.
