It’s a busy week for love, with several aspects contributing to changing the tone of your love life and personal relationships in general. Hang on to your hat!
Mondays are usually considered to be kind of a drag, and two aspects will combine to make this Monday a particular frustration. First, Mercury opposite Uranus is going to make for some erratic thoughts and scrambled plans and communications. Think of it as a sneak preview of the next Mercury retrograde, which starts at the end of this month. That’s the sort of thing that can make a Monday a real drag. But you know what else can make the day a drag? Sun square Saturn! Seriously: If there’s any chance you can take a couple of sick days or vacation days, you have my blessing.
As far as romantic pursuits go, there is a major tonal shift starting on Tuesday, when Venus enters Scorpio. A lot of sources will tell you that Venus in Libra is totally wonderful and romantic, whereas Venus in Scorpio is more like that girl in high school whom parents wanted their daughters to stay away from (bad role model!) and wanted their sons to stay further way from (high risk of pregnancy!). Personally, I say that’s nonsense. Venus in Libra can be a little too polite to speak up for itself, and doesn’t know when to make its move. Venus in Scorpio, though? Like that bad girl in high school, she’s good at getting what she wants, romantically. If you’re tired of waiting for romance to fall into your lap and you’re ready to get “get some”? Ask your doctor if Venus in Scorpio is right for you!
Not only does Venus in Scorpio liven things up as far as romantic pursuits, Venus opposite Uranus (exact on Saturday, but in effect for most of the week) can turn that bad girl into Girls Gone Wild. If you want a solid, stable, and predictable weekend in your love life (and your finances)… well, you’re not likely to get it. Looking for excitement, though? You’ll be able to find it.
That’s just one aspect that could make this upcoming weekend’s dating scene a wild good time. Two more big aspects join the fray on Sunday. First, Sun sextile Jupiter should make for happy and optimistic moods in general. And if you feel good about yourself, others are more likely to find you appealing. Second, Sunday also bring a Full Moon in Aries. Although the usual warnings about moodiness and werewolves apply here as with any Full Moon, in my experience a Full Moon in Aries can be more of a mood booster than a mood buster. So I say: take precautions, make sure you have a designated driver, and let ‘er rip!
