First of all, I’d like to make one thing perfectly clear: last week’s horoscope still applies, or at least the most important elements of it. The Saturn-Pluto conjunction, although losing some strength, is still in full effect. And it is still being provoked by transiting Mars in Cancer. Although this will be constructive for some people in a lot of ways, it also means that many of you experiencing the downside of Saturn-Pluto are likely to be feeling it strongly this week.
Meanwhile, Jupiter square Neptune is still making its effects fully felt. It’s a time when ideologies are clashing and many of us seem to be able to sort out truth from fiction. That sort of thing is easy to spot when a Facebook friend posts something that you clearly think is political nonsense, but can you be really sure you’re not deluding yourself about something (or someone) or other?
But bear with me: there’s good news coming soon. Honest!
Further complicating all that Mars-triggered action is that Mercury in Cancer will be joining Mars this week, with the exact conjunction happening on Tuesday. Normally when there’s a Mercury-Mars conjunction, I would be warning you about losing your temper and saying the wrong thing at the wrong time in the wrong way. That’s exactly what I’m telling you now, plus take extra steps to be particularly aware of the potential explosive pitfalls. Words can be weapons, and pulling out a weapon at the wrong time or at the wrong person can be disastrous.
Keep hanging in there… I swear, good news is on the way!
There are some interesting romantic opportunities in the air this weekend thanks to Venus in Gemini. The second half of the week is influenced by Venus opposite Jupiter, which is exact on Sunday. This can make for some lively good times in your love life, but it’s not the most stable of aspects. It is well-suited to partying and a little (hopefully safe) wild abandon. Your romantic judgement may be off though, because Venus is also approaching the square to Neptune. Choose your partner/target wisely, and in advance.
“Hey, wait a minute!” many of you are probably thinking now. “Here we are at the end of the forecast, and that was the ‘good news’ we were promised? That’s pretty lame.” Okay, I admit it: some of that Mercury-Mars conjunction energy was kicking in with me. I should have stopped and thought it through and been more specific. Here is my correction:
Drop by next week, when things will be at least slightly better!
