There are some pretty good transits happening this week that could give your love life a boost, but that may almost not be the point. A weekly forecast tends to examine the individual trees as they come along, but has a tendency to miss the forest. This week’s forecast, at least, provides some pretty distracting trees. I’ll get to this whole “forest” thing at the end of the forecast.
The week begins with Venus in Sagittarius coming off of its conjunction to Jupiter last week. That aspect is still in effect and still should provide a lot of optimism and good cheer, especially in matters of affection and finance. This, despite the fact that Sun conjunct Mercury is exact on Tuesday. Sun conjunct Mercury is an aspect that happens so often that it tends to get ignored, but it does have an effect. On the one hand, you may be getting a lot more bright ideas than usual. On the other hand, those ideas might be harder to express. Double check your work before you send that love letter.
The two major aspects happening this week that involve your love-life are clustered together on the weekend. On Friday, Mars square Pluto is exact. That will certainly have an effect when it comes to making people want to have sex more, but it’s not a comfortable aspect. If you meet a charming stranger at the nightclub, sure, your chances of getting some action are great. There’s also a much greater chance than usual of you getting stuck in the middle of a bar brawl.
Venus, still feeling the effects of that encounter with Jupiter, gets a little wild with things this weekend. Venus trine Uranus is exact on Saturday. When the sugar of Venus and the spice of Uranus join forces, new excitement can be brought to current relationships, and new bonds are more likely to form.
Sure, this all sounds reasonably good for a fun weekend. But remember that “bigger picture” thing that I mentioned? Through pretty much all of 2019, Saturn sextile Neptune has been in effect. This week, that aspect becomes exact.
Have you ever noticed that many great adventures involve an encounter with an older, wiser guide? Specifically, someone who shares some wisdom with a young hero or heroine and becomes an aide on the journey: a Merlin, an Obi-Wan, a Mister Miyagi, or a Dumbledore. So many stories reflect that idea because there is a lot of truth to it.
If in the last couple of years (or throughout your life in general) you have been in need of some guidance or some outside wisdom — whether or not it actually involves your love life — this week there is an increased probability that this person is going to show up in your life, or that you will find the help that you have been looking for all along. And wouldn’t that be great?
