Once again, we face a week in which there are a lot of factors in play that can affect your love life for the better. And in a world that has clearly gone mad, isn’t a little love a good thing?
The week begins with a powerful aspect that will boost sexual attraction, and that aspect stays in effect all week long. Mars sextile Pluto carries a powerful charge in the bedroom, and it does a lot of good for your general drive and ambition as well. I sometimes pick on trines and sextiles as being “soft,” but let’s be honest here: if Mars and Pluto are in collusion with each other, “soft” is probably a good idea. This could be an excellent week to spice up your sex life or to find a new partner to play along with.
Going out on a date and getting someone’s attention naturally requires that you believe in yourself. Put another way: if you wouldn’t buy the product, why should anyone else? Sun trine Uranus is exact on Thursday (but can be felt throughout the week), and all else being equal, you are a little more likely than usual to appreciate the assets you have and be shiny enough for someone else to notice you.
A third influence extends throughout the entire week, and in a lot of ways it is probably the most important one when it comes to matters of traditional love and romance. On Friday, Venus trine Neptune sets the stage for a warm and blissful feeling, a fuzzy romanticism. Depending on your surroundings and the other aspects you are experiencing, this might feel a little like slipping into a warm bath made entirely of those incredibly hokey Hallmark Channel romance movies. And let’s be honest here: a thinking person probably shouldn’t admit to watching those things, but you do it and I do it. I won’t tell anyone if you don’t.
Two other events on Friday lend an added punch to your weekend dating scene. First, Mercury conjunct Jupiter is great for speaking up and expressing your feelings, especially the positive ones. Your gift of gab (and your pickup game) is likely to be strong.
Also of potential use on Friday, the Sun enters Capricorn. Regardless of your actual Sun sign, this is usually a good time of year to get a little more serious and focused. Capricorn isn’t all pinstripes and power suits all of the time, and they can party as hard as anyone (plus they usually remember where their keys are when they’re done!)
Finally, if you prefer your emotional style to be big and sensitive, you’ll probably enjoy the Full Moon in Cancer that is happening on Saturday. If you prefer running your life in a more orderly and contained manner when it comes to your emotions, be prepared for a few more outbursts than usual from either yourself or those around you.
