Love Horoscope for the Week of July 2

Overall it should be a pretty good week for most of your human relations, but not because of Venus in Leo. Venus in Leo is usually a good placement for love and romance, but this time around her trip through Leo has been marred by far more difficult aspects than good ones. The early part of the week still sees the influence of Venus quincunx Pluto (which was exact on July 1st). Make sure you aren’t being a little too needy and emotionally demanding in your relationships.

If you have something important that needs to be communicated, maybe now is not the week to be doing that — or at least be particularly cautious when doing so. On Monday, Mercury quincunx Saturn is going to make it particularly difficult for you to make your point or have it understood correctly. That influence fades into Thursday’s Mercury opposite Mars, where the frustration you’re having about being understood could very well lead to a lot of shouting. That would be great if the shouting was getting something done, but the odds are against it.

It will be particularly important in the next couple of months to make sure that you aren’t starting any new relationships or new ventures during the Void of Course Moon. The current planetary conditions mean that many of the voids will be fairly long and extreme. This week, July 4th gets pretty much entirely eaten up by a long void in Pisces. Have fun, but this is definitely not the year to get roaring drunk and start playing with firecrackers. Let’s get you through the week with all your fingers attached, shall we?

So with all of that going on, where do I get off saying that it’s “a good week for your human relations?” Two aspects will make things generally happy and optimistic for you this week. Sun trine Jupiter on Thursday makes the latter part of the week generally pretty cheerful. If you’re not up to throwing an actual party yourself, see if you can get yourself invited to one. Towards the end of the week, and just in time for weekend dating, Sun trine Neptune is in effect. That aspect will lend a sense of softness, spirituality, and depth to the party time shenanigans one might expect from Sun trine Jupiter.

And if none of that works for you? Do you prefer planning over partying, and strategy over soirees? Lucky you, Venus enters Virgo next week, so get ready to put your (sensible) dancing shoes on!
