Love Horoscope for the Week of March 19

Last week had more than its fair share of tough aspects going for it, so even though this week isn’t a complete prize-winner, things are at least looking up. Whew!

If you have any important communications to send or agreements to make, better get that wrapped up soon: Mercury turn retrograde on Thursday and stays that way until April 15th. For many readers, April 15th is a tax deadline. You’re probably best off getting that wrapped up now — the last thing tax time needs is to get screwed up by a simple calculation or communication error.

It sounds like the week is full of minor but potentially annoying missteps. What makes things a little more risky in terms of romance in your love life is Venus square Pluto, which is exact on Friday but overshadows the entire week. Hungers and longings grow deeper and more demanding under this aspect. Used properly, this energy could potentially strengthen a relationship or motivate you to achieve your goals. However, it is best to keep in mind the old Norse wisdom that one should have a bite to eat before going to a feast, because a hungry man is rarely a wise eater. Keep that in mind when you find yourself craving the affections of a person who might be an unwise choice, or when tempted to lean too hard on a loved one who can’t solve all your problems for you as much as you might like.

Accompanying Venus square Pluto is Sun square Mars, which is exact on Saturday but also extends itself over most of the week. The Sun has a certain natural association with romantic pursuits, and the square from Mars tends to make the Sun a little too impulsive for anyone’s good. The Venus and Mars aspects happening late in the week could potentially lead you to be, as the old song puts it, “looking for love in all the wrong places.” Yes, that sort of thing can be fun sometimes, but is it enough fun to be worth waking up next to someone whose name you don’t remember?
