Love Horoscope for the Week of November 6

If all you’re looking for from this forecast is some romance tips, you’ll get those: however the elephant in the room this week is an aspect that affects the entire month, and it’s probably a lot more important than just your dating plans.

Mercury is still in Sagittarius, and that makes it a good time for friendly communications and socializing with new and interesting people. Venus in Scorpio continues to work its sexual magic on the world — yes, theoretically this isn’t the most comfortable of neighborhoods for Venus, but it is an unusually effective vibe if you learn how to work with it. If Venus in Libra was a typically pretty Disney Princess, then Venus in Scorpio is a Disney Princess in a Ramones t-shirt, mini skirt and ripped fishnets. I don’t know about you, but I find the latter a lot more approachable than the former. Keep that in mind when you are working on your seduction style for the rest of November.

The biggest and most important aspect of the month is actually exact on Saturday, but exerts a powerful influence throughout the entire month. Whoever you are and wherever you find yourself in life, there are probably some obstacles that you need to overcome, or some kind of new initiative or project you’d like to break ground on. This week is the time to do that. Saturn trine Uranus is a relatively rare aspect, and it only comes around once every several years. When you combine the steadfast and head-forward stubborn determination of Saturn in Sagittarius with the wild and untamed creative genius of Uranus in Aries, amazing things can happen. Because this is a trine we’re talking about, it won’t slap you in the face with a sudden sense of urgency the same way that a difficult square or opposition would. Nonetheless, now is the time to put some real thought into what you want out of your life over the next few months and years, and then do the work. Whether that is a change to the state of your love life or something else in your existence, I leave to you.

If everything is running relatively smoothly in your life other than romance, the weekend dating scene offers some opportunities to do something about that, too. The Moon is in Leo for Friday and Saturday night, and that often brings with it a festive and fun-loving feeling that can be great for setting up either a first date or having some fun with your existing situation. If you like things a little more calm, nurturing, and sensible, there is always Moon in Virgo on Sunday. In either case, you should probably use protection and beware of sudden sexual impulses: Venus and Mars are in a mutual reception, meaning each planet is in a sign traditionally ruled by the other one. Sudden hormone surges and uncomfortable bouts of desire are to be expected.
