Love Horoscope for the Week of November 20

Last week, I warned you about Mars square Pluto, which might turn you and those around you into human bulldozers. Although that transit was exact on the 12th, it hangs over the entire week. The challenge for this Mars square Pluto energy is finding an effective outlet and figuring out how to use it properly, and none of this week’s transits appear to be terribly helpful when it comes to helping you channel it.

The two planets most associated with love and romance are Venus and Mars, and they are in strange places this week. Venus is making its way through Scorpio for the rest of the month. Venus in Scorpio is plenty sexy, sure… but theoretically she isn’t that comfortable in the sign of the Scorpion. Romance and sweetness are bolstered by Venus sextile Pluto, which is exact on Tuesday but remains in effect throughout the week.

Meanwhile, Mars in Libra is in a more problematic position. Libra has the reputation for negotiating, not fighting, and sometimes Mars doesn’t know what to do when confronted with the prospects of peace. And of course, there’s still that square to Pluto, which means that all else being equal, no… cooler heads will likely not prevail.

Also on Tuesday, the Sun enters Sagittarius. This means that many of you will be stuck trying to come up with a birthday present that is well suited to the Sagittarian nature. If any of you out there have discovered thoughtful and philosophically stimulating safety equipment, let me know, okay?

On Wednesday, Neptune performs a station and goes Direct. A stationary Neptune is a powerful one, and if you have experienced any confusion or disorder lately, particularly if you have any important placements at 11 degrees or so of the Mutable Signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, or Pisces), now may mark the beginning of a possible solution to your issues. Because Neptune is involved, however, don’t expect that solution to be obvious, clear-cut, or particularly sensible.

For dating purposes, this weekend can be great if you get the timing right. Moon in Aquarius goes Void of Course on Saturday evening, so don’t plan for anything new and exciting to get off the ground. Sunday may be your best shot for that, as Moon in Pisces spends the evening in the sweet, delusional embrace of Neptune. Be careful giving your heart away — it could be True Love or it could be a mirage.
