Love Horoscope for the Week of September 25

At first glance, you might think that this week’s transits should get you better results than they have, or at least shouldn’t have been as screwball as they turned out. That’s because the biggest astrological news this week is Mars opposite Neptune. Although that aspect was actually exact last weekend, it continues to hover over this week’s proceedings like a big dumb dog who doesn’t know whether he’s hungry or just affectionate, so he ends up slobbering on you and your lunch.

Yes, I know, that was a terrible metaphor. Forgive me: I was attempting to channel the overall effect that Mercury square Saturn is having on this week. Although that aspect is exact on Monday, you can expect it to make your communications, word choice, and general conversations a little more frustrating and a little less productive than usual for most of the week.

The biggest and most influential aspect of the week is exact late Wednesday night. Jupiter opposite Uranus will certainly make things lively and has the potential to pump a lot of fresh life into your romance, your socializing, and life in general. However, since the aspect we’re talking about is an opposition, you may find the energy to be a little erratic to make practical use of.

If any of these transits make you end up saying the wrong thing to the wrong person at the wrong time, at least you will have a chance to patch things up somewhat in the next little while, as Mercury enters Libra on Friday. Theoretically, this isn’t as sharp or analytical as Mercury in Virgo was, but it’s probably a lot better suited to making nice with potential enemies and patching things up with loved ones.

At the top of the weekend, you might not think an Aquarius Moon has the greatest reputation for Romance, but Aquarius does a brilliant job of understanding the other guy and trying its best to make things fair for all involved. That may not sound incredibly sexy to you, but that sort of common-sense human relations is vital if you want to get anywhere with your love life.

By the end of a week like this, you might find you are more than a little frustrated and/or tempted to bust loose and break something, literally or figuratively. That’s just natural frustration. But also let’s not this miss the effects of Mars trine Pluto, which isn’t exact until next Monday but still bookends the week the same way that Mars opposite Neptune started things off.
