Sun in Capricorn will have a tough time keeping Moon in Pisces on his schedule. Capricorn will want to be the boss, but Pisces (although initially agreeable) will gradually fade into her own dream world. This can have its advantages, as Moon in Pisces may end up dissolving some of Capricorn’s rigid laws.
Sun in Capricorn is all about rules and structure. He has a set vision of how he expects his relationship to progress, and he’s not keen on deviations from that path. Sun in Capricorn is The Boss, and his partner will find it easiest if she accepts his authority (in most areas). Having said that, he also needs a lover who balances out some of his unbending qualities. If left unchecked, his rules can cement a partnership into a stale union where responsibility drains the life out of it.
Moon in Pisces needs space to live out her dreams. These may be her private fantasies, or a creative outlet, but it’s essential that this sensitive Moon is able to escape on occasion. Moon in Pisces does best with a lover who honors her inner magic, while providing enough structure for her to exist in the real world. Her Shadow side consists of the vague dreamer who avoids all responsibility, or who merges so completely with her partner that her own needs are sacrificed.
Sun in Capricorn will insist that things are done a certain way, and Moon in Pisces will try to follow his rules. But eventually, she’ll drift off course, much to his frustration. The more he insists that she follow his plan, the more she’ll avoid it. However, Moon in Pisces may be able to help Sun in Capricorn relax some of his standards (if he allows this to happen). And Capricorn will certainly provide structure for Pisces. The question is, will he stabilize or crush her?
