Sun in Scorpio’s obsessive nature will not blend easily with Moon in Sagittarius’ need for fun and adventure. The weight of Scorpio’s love may be too much for Sag’s nomadic heart, but one thing these two share is passion. Scorpio’s passion will be fixed, and Sag’s passion will be free, but there may be enough heat between them to keep things interesting.
Sun in Scorpio is known for his obsessive tendencies. He becomes focused on one issue (or person) as a way of understanding. His partner may initially find his intensity (and possessiveness) to be flattering, sexy and thrilling. Sun in Scorpio’s relentless focus can be hot in the bedroom, but not so hot if he demands to know every secret that he imagines his lover might have. Few signs are more faithful, but even the most secure Scorpio has a streak of jealousy and paranoia.
Moon in Sagittarius needs room to breath. She feels safest when there’s an exit option, even if she never decides to take it. She is able to commit — and will bring her optimism and sense of adventure to the relationship — but restricting her freedom is the quickest way to extinguish her passion. Moon in Sagittarius is a laid-back wanderer at heart. As long as her partner honors this — and keeps the atmosphere of exploration alive in the relationship — she should stick around.
Sun in Scorpio will want Sagittarius all to himself. Moon in Sagittarius may find this exciting for a minute or two, but will quickly become oppressed by his intensity. She’ll want him to lighten up, and he’ll be threatened by her restlessness. Sag may bolt while Scorpio slides into stereotypical stalker mode; however, it doesn’t have to go down this way. Each has enough passion to keep the other interested. If Sun in Scorpio can dial down his intensity just a bit, Moon in Sagittarius’ tolerance (she’s open to just about anything, if she’s in love) should take care of the rest.
