Sun in Libra, Moon in Capricorn Compatibility

Sun-Moon CompatibilitySun in Libra’s bright social impulses will clash with Moon in Capricorn’s somber need for solitude. In order for Libra to avoid being hurt by Capricorn’s severe moods, he’ll have to learn to not take his partner’s coolness personally. She may be an island unto herself at times, but when this Saturn-ruled Moon commits to someone, she means business.

Sun in Libra gets accused of sprinkling everything with sugar. Although he can be superficial, this Venus-ruled sign truly wants to get along with everyone. He’s unfailingly polite and flirtatious (only Libra could pull that combination off), combining razor-sharp instincts for what people like with a distaste for conflict. While his agreeable demeanor (and constant indecision) may annoy his lover after awhile, Sun in Libra genuinely loves being in a couple. And his partner will reap the rewards of that love.

Moon in Capricorn needs to have her walls. She also needs time alone, even as she builds an organized, domestic foundation for her and her lover. What she doesn’t need is another person. Moon in Capricorn only pairs up when she wants to (and when she lets her guard down) because, in her heart, she embraces solitude and self-reliance. If her partner can accept that his somewhat emotionally distant lover is with him because she chooses to be, he’ll discover that she’s the rock of their relationship.

Sun in Libra will desperately try to cheer Capricorn up, mistaking her withdrawal for depression. Moon in Capricorn will feel annoyed with Libra’s efforts to make her happy, because she may not want to be happy at that particular moment. These two will need to accept that they have very different styles, even as they both want a traditional partnership. If Moon in Capricorn stays home and broods while Libra hits the town, he can learn to be OK with this. And it won’t hurt Capricorn to soften up a bit when Sun in Libra brings her flowers.

this is a great article just on the generalities of Libra, and sugaring everything on top and wanting to be friends with everyone.

Also, Capricorn, how cap just HATES all that sugar stuff, and needs alone time, and their inner private sanctum. And, yes it is always always Capricorn (it seems this in cap’s sun/moon/mars/venus) is the CHOOSER. If and when she chooses is so right.

they really are different, styles and everything. I even see that alot with Sun signs of Cap & libra, they hate eachother immediately. Well, not immediately, the Cap senses the neediness of Libra, and finds it off putting and just not her style, while the libra will be offended and hurt that she’s not accepted when she’s trying so hard to give flowers and open arms. It’s kind of funny and sad to see in real life.

I can’t imagine when a person actually has this in Sun/Moon combo. It must be hell going back and forth with all that sunshine and then wanting dark moods all of a sudden. They must be going crazy.

I have moon in taurus, most of my chart is in earth, but I just get along with taurus or virgo men, never capricorn, moon in capricorn etc. If I could choose I would like a partner with also moon in taurus or in a water sign. I really need a caring and sensitive person by my side.
