Venus in Aquarius Square Jupiter in Taurus: Too Much of a Good Thing?

Venus Square JupiterSometimes there can actually be too much of a good thing, and collectively, we’ll have the opportunity to discover this truth when Venus squares Jupiter from December 20 to 21. Venus in Aquarius favors friends and freedom, while Jupiter in Taurus is all about comfort and stability. Throw a fiery square into the mix, and you may find yourself overindulging at a holiday party in a most interesting fashion. If you’d like to try and keep things just a little bit sane, it’s possible, but the temptation to let loose will be strong.

Venus is all about pleasure, and in Aquarius pleasure can be found in a variety of strange and unlikely places. Jupiter calls for expansion and growth, pushing for bigger and better. Though the square aspect between these two fun-loving planets can cause tension, it also motivates action and movement.

In relationships now, you may be tempted to address any problems that arise by overdoing things. Buying too many presents, spending too much time together and in general just amping up the volume of your affection. This can backfire when it all becomes just a little “too much.” There’s no need to be artificially cool and distant when all you want to do is cuddle and smooch, but trying to tone it all down and maintain some self-control will go a long way towards not scaring off the object of your affection.

On the other hand, you may also feel the need for some space and freedom as Venus in Aquarius makes her demands. If this is the case, you’ll need to remember not to let the siren call of escape take over, and instead focus your attention on paying some respect to the traditions and rituals of your relationship, as these too are important, even if you may not be feeling it in the moment.
