Venus in Scorpio, Mars in Scorpio Compatibility

Listen to this article

ScorpioLike Persephone and Hades, this duo rules the underworld of love and sex with depth and style. Powerful and intense, the Venus and Mars in Scorpio couple is a force to be reckoned with. This pair gravitates towards environments and situations in which they can delve beneath the surface of life, exposing the energetic and emotional core that lies below. Like volcanic activity, the conflicts that emerge from this couple’s partnership are earth shattering, but have the potential to enrich the soil of their union over time. Together, this Venus/Mars pair can get through just about anything.

Venus in Scorpio has no time for BS in love. She wants to know right away if she can trust you, and she usually has an uncanny ability to figure this out pretty much immediately. Her instinctual gauge of who is safe to love and who is better left untouched has probably been developed through a rough history of trial and error, as this Venus has often learned about matters of the heart the hard way. That’s why, once she finds you, she never wants to let go. Venus in Scorpio offers a deep and fierce love, with a passion that’s hard to beat and that often expresses itself in sexual desire. Feed her appetite and stay loyal, and she’s yours for life (and also probably even after death).

Mars in Scorpio is like the dark knight, wooing from a place of magnetic power and intensity. This Mars has an innate understanding of emotional complexity and the psychological underpinnings of life. Moving through the world with stealth and a bit of secrecy, he rarely shows his hand, preferring to wait until others divulge their secrets first. Venus and Mars in Scorpio will be able to commit to each other out of an empathetic understanding, though they may need to go through a few rounds of games until they understand exactly who they’re dealing with. Once they realize they’re equally matched, they’ll settle in to enjoy their underground kingdom, ready to enjoy the shared pleasures that await them there.

Are these venus-mars descriptions meant to read venus:woman mars:man?
Or is it also applying if you read the venus:man mars:woman?

I really like the descriptions! but i can’t find the answer on my question.
Do you have a list ready which signs you are about to describe? because im still waiting for venus scorpio (man) mars cancer (woman) but then again, i don’t know if it applies like that as well !

anyway, thanks a lot for the wonderful words.

ls_gemini, the descriptions apply regardless of gender (who has which planet). Fern is writing combinations by request on a first-come-first-served basis.

Hey I don’t see the mention of the power struggle. I have Venus in Scorpio and he has Mars in Scorpio. We both demand total surrender from each other. He’s content to test me until I clear all these hurtles and I could just rip him to shreds for playing games.

But OH MY GOD is it intense and kinda like a pit-bull with lock-jaw on its prey. Love this man to death and beyond….still negotiating the contract there with all my teeth. I want the post-mortem marriage too. He first requires that I pass a post-mortem test, however.

It is true that venus in Scorpio and mars in Scorpio put each other through a series of “tests” to see if the other is “worthy”.

I have yet to find a complementary mars to my venus, but I do understand the reading and it is quite accurate.

    Great work

Very clearly perceived and expressed, about the Venus in Scorpio, Fern!
Yes, sometimes we do learn to hone our gauge of who is safe to trust and who to steer clear of through trial and error indeed! Learn we must. Of course that can be true of all of us, for sure.

Thank you for writing an insightful, balanced description of venus in scorpio. Not having mars in scorpio, I can not personally attest to that energy.

I am a Venus in Scorpio, sun in libra, and have been off and on again with a mars in Scorpio sun in Gemini man. I have never loved anyone this intensely. I am used to having a certain control but this man has me at the end of my wits! Our game is soul shattering and I am not sure I can get through this phase.

Hey! Same combo here…kinda reversed. Me Gemini sun Mars in Venus…him sun in Libra Venus in Scorpio… we are still circling the battlefield lol…it’s so intense I think I can touch our feelings if I tried a little. Haven’t expressed our feelings yet, and it’s getting more compressed with each passing day. Would really like to know how yours turned out…I hope you still are together happily! Do reply if you read this… anyone else too with same placements…
