I’m starting an online astrology magazine this fall, and I’m looking for excellent writers. If you have a passion for the astrology of celebs, fashion or media (Film, TV, Music), I want to hear from you!
The types of articles I’m looking for:
- A look at the transits/progressions that correspond with a significant event in a celeb’s life.
- An astrological analysis of trends in Film/TV/Music, looking at current outer planet aspects, or transits/progressions to a country’s chart.
- A by-the-sign breakdown of fashion suggestions, or an astrological analysis of fashion trends by looking at current transits.
- Insightful natal chart analyses of high-profile celebrities.
Initially, the pay will be minimal but you’ll get wide exposure and can link back to your website or blog.
If you’re interested, please complete the following steps:
- Create an account at Google Docs.
- Create a New Document.
- In the document, include your name, email address, and a sample article, 300-400 words in length. If you have a blog or have published online, please include links at the end of the document.
- At the top right, click on Share, and then Share With Others.
- Invite jeffreykishner@gmail.com, and then click on Invite Collaborators.
- Done!
Your sample will not be published. It is for review purposes only, although I might ask you to expand on it for future publication.
(I know Mercury is retrograde, so if you have technical difficulties with the above procedure, just pop me an email. But to streamline the process, I would appreciate if you share your sample with me on Google Docs.)
Thanks!
~ Jeff
Do you have to be a professional astrologer to do this?
@michelle – No. You have to be a really good writer with a sound understanding of what you’re writing about. If you’re writing about Sun signs and lipstick, you don’t need to know how to do secondary progressions.
So I heard that hipsters were part of the Pluto in Libra generation…
irr-elephant?
well, since you said fashion, I just wanted to point out the elitist venus fashion around bedford avenue.
It’d be also interesting to see how ‘punk’ was formed, and the leather jacket and studs.
the astrology of Williamsburg. Trucker hats by sign!
