I have been talking to him for the last 3 weeks over the phone and I feel he is withdrawling from the relationship and still looking for other women. I guess my question is are we even compatible and is it even worth trying to keep the friendship with the intent on seeing where things go? Well, I’m new to this site, but I’m currently in a serious relationship with a Capricorn – I am a Sag.
My Venus is in Aquarius and I was married to an Aquarius for 10 years until one day he decided he didn’t want to be married anymore and left. :0) This was news to me, but it worked out for the best. As soon there after I met my Capricorn. He is wonderful and sensitive and down-to-earth which really helps me when I’m all fired up or need to be grounded – which is quite often.
What I found with the Aquarius I was married to, was that he wasn’t directed enough for my taste and he always dreamed bigger than he could ever achieve. We both loved to travel but never were able to, because we were both bad with money and therefore never had enough to do anything.
My two life-long friends are both Capricorns and whereas they are true Capricorns in the sense that they are both right in the middle of the sign, my Capricorn is closer to the Sag Sign (only two days) and so we have a lot in common as well as just enough differences to make life interesting.
I also think it depends on when in a Sag’s life you find a Capricorn mate. If you are a young Sag, a Cap may seem too restrictive but if you are ready to settle down a little bit and allow yourself to be grounded, then a Cap/Sag match is really a good thing. I think it also depends on other variants such as common interests, dreams, goals, etc.

Let’s just say I’ve been married for a Cap male for eight years. We were friends for five years before hand…the friendship is KEY with these two signs. Having planets in your same sun signs helps too.
The biggest NO-NO is spending the Cap male’s money on anything he would see as frivolous. Being a Sag female, I’ve done it before. The temper flaring isn’t NICE but it’s a good wake up call to keep me on my toes to the point I’d watch any purchases in the future without consulting Cap male – this means from buying bread to buying HIM his clothing.
Don’t get depressed and avoid cleaning your house together – Cap male will freak out at you. If not expect a melt down and resentment for being this way – once they resent you – LOOK OUT it’s not fun trying to set everything right again. I have an Aquarius moon which makes me prone to depression or anxiety and I’m an at home mom who relies on Cap’s income. I’m getting my career together but its not fast enough.
Due to my Libra ascendant – Libra and Caps keep secrets from each other – my advice, DON’T! That will hurt you more. Once the trust is broken its hard to get it back. My Cap male has a Virgo moon, Venus in Cap (like me), Sagittarius ascendant, Pisces mars and Cap mercury – our houses are VERY much in each others signs. I have a Scorpio juno (and I was born on the cusp of Scorp and Sag) which helps keep my Cap ‘secure’ (supposeofly) and my Cap’s juno is in Aquarius which is secure for a Sag. Juno is an asteroid which states your wife/husband sign – how you come off in a partnership.
The only other thing helping us right now is my 5th house – my family house is in Pisces and my Cap’s mars is in Pisces which is good for having the same family ideals, etc.
I also have a 3rd house in Cap which is my communication house and it works okay with my Cap’s mercury – the intellectual is there between us.
The worse thing you can do is give up on this relationship. Make sure you check ALL of your natal aspects – because these signs can succeed in a relationship if you make the adjustments and compromise and BE nice to each other! Talk everything through even if you have to become a business partner of your Cap males, Sag females. They seem to only get that aspect in the communication department – blunt and to the point.
Keep in mind Cap male doesn’t have a lot of confidence in themselves in the relationship department either and they fear failure – just like failure you do too.
I’m a Sagittarius. I have Venus and Mercury in Capricorn and I am so attracted to Capricorns and all their qualities although I find them quite boring. I’m friends with a lot of Capricorns and my (ex) best friend was a Capricorn. My moon is in Leo and my rising sign is in Aquarius. I don’t think it’s that good of a match and I would much rather date a sagittarius or gemini because I find them more attractive and adventurous and because of my past experience but I’m thinking of getting in a relationship with a Capricorn because I like all their qualities and think we could have great sex. 🙂

@sassysag: I like the Moon/Sun connection in Sag, but fear the watery nature in your chart because Sag Moon and Aqua Venus require space and freedom. This is a dude who needs a longer leash, are you willing to give it to him? If so it can definitely work out! Try building up lots and lots of trust, you may find yourself falling back on it a lot.
I’m a Cap who dated a Sag with Cap Venus and Cancer Rising…it was tough for him to let me go off and do my own thing a lot with those placements…but we lasted many years and are still friends…it wasn’t easy for him all the time with my need for excitement and change.
