Love Horoscope for the Week of November 13

The most important aspect of the week is exact on the last day of the week, so I’m going to start this forecast with the end.

This Sunday is when Mars square Pluto is exact, and that aspect influences both all of this week and all of next week. Sexual impulses will be stronger than usual, and will be less subject to logic or reason. Think of it this way: you’re looking in the window of a candy store and you see something that you really, really want. Unfortunately the store is closed. Normally the sensible thing to do in a situation like this would be to wait until tomorrow when the store is open. This week and next week however, you may feel a powerful urge to pick up a brick and smash that window and grab all the candy and run. So the question you need to ask yourself is this: do you want to manage this urge in a reasonable manner, or are you feeling lucky and do you think you can get away with it? Here’s a hint: “feeling lucky” and “actually being lucky” are two different things.

There. Now that I’ve served you your vegetables, let’s dive into the rest of the week in chronological order, because it’s mostly dessert.

Monday begins with two aspects that are wonderful for new romance or doing maintenance on an existing situation. First, Venus conjunct Jupiter is exactly as sweet as it sounds. Romance is in the air, it’s on your mind, and potentially it’s right there in front of you. It may be a little hard to tell though, because Monday also sees Mercury square Neptune. That is an aspect that is great for generating the fuzzy-mindedness that comes with having so much romantic potential hovering around. It’s not the best for clear and sensible thinking though, so be careful about what you’re saying in that love letter you’re about to send. And of course, make sure it’s addressed to the right person.

Adding to the general mood of fuzzy logic and fluffy emotions is Venus trine Neptune, which is exact on Thursday. Some astrologers refer to Neptune as the “higher octave” of Venus, so as far as relationship potential goes this is a little like Batman and Superman teaming up, and they’re both on your side.

Many relationships of lasting value start with a first date on Saturday night, and this Saturday brings a New Moon in Scorpio. A new moon is always a good time to set down your intentions for you what you want out of life in the next month. I’m not saying that if you have a first date scheduled with someone this Saturday it will automatically lead to marriage… but your overall odds of that outcome are going to be a significantly better than average this Saturday.

So, hey, what could possibly go wrong? Have you already forgotten the first paragraph of this forecast? That must be Mercury square Neptune working its magic. Go back and read it again!
