Love Horoscope for the Week of June 5

If there’s anything more annoying than having to go to work on Monday morning, it’s having to go to work on Monday morning and having an emotionally deep and potentially therapeutic conversation with a co-worker. Nonetheless, Mercury sextile Chiron (exact on Monday) sets the stage for that. You may be best off saving your armchair psychologist routine for the evening with a loved one.

The impulsive and impatient nature of Venus in Aries may not have lined up well with your own personal Love Style. If that’s the case, then Venus entering Taurus on Tuesday will be great news. Venus is Taurus is great for comfort food and comfort sex — but it’s a little slow to move when it comes to launching a relationship, so don’t count on Venus alone to do all the work for you. Venus stays in Taurus until July 4th… so make up your own joke about “romantic fireworks.”

Also on Tuesday, Mercury enters Gemini. If you thought that Venus in Taurus was good news, add “talking a good game” to those qualities and you’ve got it made. Whatever your romantic goals are though, it’s a good time for clear and clever writing and communication. Stating your needs and feelings to someone in a clear and comprehensible manner is favored now.

All of this sets the stage for Weekend Lovin’, and what an emotional brew the sky has in store for us all! Friday’s Full Moon in Sagittarius is sure to bring a boisterous good time to many a social gathering. Of course, Full Moons also have a reputation for unwise behavior and bruised feelings, so be cautious. One thing amplifying the effect of this Full Moon is that (being in Sagittarius) it’s ruled by Jupiter, and Friday is also the day that Jupiter is stationary and turns direct. Since Jupiter can often make things excessive, you might want to have a Designated Driver lined up in advance. Come to think of it, on a day like Friday is going to be, you might want to make sure that your Designated Driver has a Designated Driver too.

Was that enough excitement for one Friday for you? Well, too bad! Friday is also the day that Venus sextile Mars is exact (although it influences most of the week). As mentioned earlier, Venus in Taurus is particularly strong, and Mars in Cancer is oh so moody. Put the two of them together and you have the ideal combination for working out your frustrations through sexual activity. That’s (probably) great if you have an existing relationship, and (possibly) risky if we’re talking about someone you’ve just met. Either way, use a little sound judgement first before you spend the weekend in bed with someone.
