Sun in Libra, Moon in Libra Compatibility

Sun-Moon CompatibilityThis relationship features a double dose of charm, agreeableness and sparkle. Libra will harmonize with Libra (of course) as the Moon partner’s needs mesh perfectly with the Sun partner’s purpose. Sun conjunct Moon is a classic compatibility aspect, but when the Libran energy of people-pleasing is so pronounced, there is a danger of the balance tipping into surface interaction, and not much else.

Sun in Libra knows how to get along with almost anyone, and not simply because he likes happy, social times. This Venus-ruled sign’s purpose is to find common ground with others. He was born to be someone’s partner, because one-on-one relationships are where he excels. However, his lover needs to be aware of Sun in Libra’s tendency to avoid conflict and gloss over the messy stuff. In order to have a truly balanced partnership, he needs to blend all the unpleasant moments (that come from loving another human being) into his picture-perfect lifestyle.

Moon in Libra needs harmony. More than any other Moon sign, her feelings of safety are dependent on a calm, happy home that she can share with another person. Moon in Libra’s partner will be the recipient of her endless support and romantic dinners. It will all seem perfect, until her partner forgets that she has her own needs (which she has ignored in her efforts to please her lover). Then, her Shadow side will emerge as unacknowledged feelings of resentment make her moody, irritable and spiteful. The Domestic Goddess can turn into a Domestic Tyrant if she feels overlooked or under-appreciated.

Sun in Libra will truly not be happy unless his partner is, and vice versa. So they will each do everything in their power to make sure the other is content. Moon in Libra’s needs will be constantly validated by her Sun partner, and Sun in Libra’s ego will be continually supported by his Moon partner. But if there aren’t other energies in their charts that compel them to dip beneath the surface, these two run the risk of conducting their relationship in one, shallow dimension. When problems arise (as they will, even with this couple) they may ignore them until it’s too late.

Comments

  1. I hope you do a gay sun and moon comparability or Venus and Mars. There isn’t a lot of astrology websites that cover gay relationships.

  2. There’s nothing in the Sun-Moon series that can’t be applied to same-sex relationships. Please read the intro here regarding the use of pronouns.
