New Year’s Eve sets up so many unfair expectations: astrologically, there’s no obvious significance one way or another to the end of the year. But in this case, Sun sextile Pluto certainly makes us wants to demand answers of our loved ones and/or the Universe in general. Well, cut that out: This week is better served by reasonable expectations than by explosions. You may have hoped for the romance of “Gone With The Wind” from your New Year… but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with a little “Sense And Sensibility” first.
Don’t believe me? Go ahead: ask Scarlet O’Hara how well the impulsive approach worked out for her.
Saturn and Pluto are closely sextile this week. This is a rare opportunity for you to make some sense of your inner life and find the matching circumstances somewhere out there. Of course, your loved ones may well be feeling the same pressures, both internally and externally. Sit down and reason with them and you may very well get results. Shove them, and expect to be shoved back.
Mars and Jupiter are trine each other in Air Signs, and that makes for one of those rare moods where your mental processes may actually be able to affect emotional outcomes. Seek a new and creative resolution to old conflicts and you’ll be on the right track. Sometimes finding the solution is as easy as changing your perspective, and the Air Signs love nothing better than a fresh perspective.
If you feel your words and ideas need a little more backup, by the end of the week Mercury joins that sextile and makes perspectives even clearer… even if Saturday’s Moon in Libra square the Sun and Pluto lends an edge to proceedings.
If you aren’t in a significant relationship right now, all of the above also applies to your own state of mind and/or indecision around romance. And what’s more, Venus spends the week virtually unaspected in Sagittarius… and few things in life spell the potential for “unexpected adventure” than a planet left unsupervised in that sign. So set your doubts aside and have fun with it!
