Do si do, partner; here comes Mercury retrograde. It’s one step forward and one step back but, believe it or not, you’ll get there. Eventually. Don’t be in any hurry, though. It’s a long and winding road, complete with eclipses that begin next week. Whatever chapter you began two weeks ago isn’t really going to be completed until Mid-December.

Meanwhile, Tuesday is Election Day in the USA, precisely when Mercury reverses direction. Neptune, charismatic spinner of dreams and ultimate projection planet must be laughing too. After five months of retrograde motion, Neptune resumes its forward path on Saturday. That makes its energy — and the confusion that it often evokes — even stronger than usual now. Mix in Mercury’s madness, and there’s a whole host of weird events that are just waiting to be set into motion. Hanging chads, anyone?

In spite of the planetary mischief — or rather because of it — you’d be wise to consider who you’re buying into and why. We tend to project a whole lot of stuff onto the people we entrust to represent us and to uphold our values. Someone’s going to be named President, fairly or not.

But one thing’s for sure: it’s not your President that’s going to raise you up. He honestly has no power to do that for you. Thankfully, you do. Pour your energy and love into that THING that lights you up like nothing else. Work with a trusted someone to support you through what could be a five-week birthing process.
