Mars’ transit through Libra introduces a planetary paradox to our collective mood. Mars, the warrior planet, is direct, straightforward, bold and confident. Libra? Not so much. Peace, harmony, balance and beauty motivate the sign of the scales much more than fighting, challenge and conflict. So what happens when you combine these two opposing energies?
Say hello to the “peaceful warrior”—a Mars in Libra archetype we can all strive to emulate. During this time it’s possible to learn what it means to be assertive with grace and diplomacy rather than brute force. Relationships can thrive as we spend more time focusing on our partner’s needs and desires than our own.
More energy and desire (Mars) for romance and sensitivity (Libra) are also likely during this time, as we seek the “Knights in Shining Armor” who lurk among us. Good manners, etiquette and a desire to be civilized are further hallmarks of Mars’ transit through Libra. Diplomacy and negotiation are emphasized, as Libra thrives on solutions that please everyone.
This process may also bring challenges to relationships, as passive-aggressive or indirect expressions of anger multiply when Mars meets Libra. Libra can be evasive, and with the added emphasis of Mars, frustration may occur when we try to gain clarity or a sense of commitment from a partner. This is a better time for whispering sweet nothings and writing love poems than it is for dealing with the grim realities of dishwashing and whose turn it is to take out the garbage.

Does anybody know what happens when t. mars hits my natal venus in libra (9. house) this month … and saturn hitting it simultaneously for the 3rd and final time during retrograde motion??? My venus rules my 4/5/9 house and I am libra ….
Besides, new moon + t. sun conj. in leo (my 8.th house) are sextiling my venus by degree at the same time … and trining my chart ruler jupiter (1.st house) by degree …Is this something special?
Best reg. Eva
