Venus in Aquarius: December 20 to January 14

AquariusFly your freak flag high, because when Venus moves into Aquarius, love can become just plain weird. The sign of the trickster, the rebel and the innovator, Aquarius is anything but normal. Thriving on the new and unusual, this sign likes to shake things up, awakening us to the truth of our deepest selves. As Venus—the planet of love and money—travels through Aquarius this month, innovation and change are highlighted.

If you’ve been getting complacent in your relationship, now might be the time to try something—or someone—new. The same old routines and habits may not seem to work like they used to, so exploring alternative avenues can prove rewarding. This is not the time to play it safe in love, as Aquarius demands change and movement.

Financially, this could also be a good time to take a few risks and experiment. Thinking outside the box could lead to new ideas about making money, or potential job opportunities.

The more you try and get a different perspective now, shaking up your ideas about reality, the more you stand to benefit from Venus’ movement through Aquarius.

  1. @Fern Feto Spring
Would someone with a progressed Venus in Aquarius need to interpret this transit in a significant way?
Are there any articles here on progressed planets?

By the way, it was great to see your contribution to the 2012 Llewellyn Sabbat’s Almanac!

  2. Grrrrr…this is NOT what I want to hear regarding the Venus transit, but it is what it is and I guess I need to prepare to step outside of my comfort zone AGAIN! lol

    **shaking my head right here**

  3. This whole notion that Aquarius is progressive and avant garde and “outside of the box” is complete hogwash. I’m Aquarius all the way up and down my chart (Sun, Venus, Mars, Moon) and I don’t really think I’ve ever been this nutcase progressive “mad scientist” inventor that the astrologers keep claiming I’m supposed to be based on my chart.

  4. Whatevs Aquaman, You’re always getting the newest gadgets!!

  5. @novlady there’s an article on venus progressions here

  6. @ AquaMan….hmmm, you’re on an astrological blog and your avatar seems pretty avant garde to me. It’s definitely progressive for a male to feature a symbolic graphic of himself represented with purple hair. lol

  7. Jeff…thank you SO much. I’ve been researching transit information as I read somewhere else that venus progressions are indicative of committment timelines.

    Have a Happy New Year’s!

  8. @Jeffrey Kishner

    Thanks!

  9. Mmmmmm hmmmmmm!

Trying to get this Leo/Virgo Cusper to wear a ski mask and some gloves during sex. I will have my way!!!

  10. That’s the stuff that memories are made of.
