I wanted to thank those members who have been flagging content they deem inappropriate, as it helps me to weed out comments that bring down the community.
One troll who left racist/misogynistic/abusive comments was banned.
I do want to note that just because someone leaves feedback that you do not like, those comments are not a violation of Community Guidelines. Although there is a tight-knit group of regulars, new members join the forum regularly, and they will obviously not be familiar with everyone’s back stories. It does little good to attack someone for just voicing their honest opinion. If you really want to keep “outsiders” from participating in a conversation (especially when it feels like you are just updating your friends), it is best to create a private group for those purposes.

*raises hand*…I was a guilty party in one of those forums as well. I agree that not liking someone’s feedback is no reason to resort to name calling or attacking character.
I’m a regular participant in a private forum/chat group that we’ve had for about…IDK, 6 months or so now and I have to admit…it’s great. I get to blog and still talk about astrological aspects, relationship synastry, challenges, etc without the muck of drama or people who like to say insulting things in order to CREATE drama.
*eye roll right here*
So yea…I agree Jeff, the private forum/chat group is a great alternative.

Sorry to hear you’ve been having Troll trouble as I know myself how irritating (and time consuming) that can be.
In my case I had to eventually stop alowing comments unfortunately and I miss having the thoughts of genuine folk on my site.
