October 23: Sun enters Scorpio
The urge to delve deeply into the hidden depths of life – whether we’re looking for corporate secrets or the dirt on our lovers – is front and center for the next 30 days. Life takes a turn towards darkness and intensity, as we are drawn towards themes like mortality. As anyone can see when looking at adult Halloween costumes, the choices are either “slut” or “demon.” (Sex and death!) In the Northern hemisphere, the leaves are turning brilliant yellow, oranges and reds. It’s like a flash before the fade-out. Who says dying can’t be beautiful?
