Thanks a lot Julie. I like your take on it much better than mine! I can definitely relate to your interpretation. Juno/SN are 4 & 5 degrees from the MC respectively and I certainly need work that allows me to shine in some way and to reach out and connect/communicate with people (I also have Sun in Leo in the 9th ruling my MC!). I’m just about to start a new fundraising/public relations position in a not for profit environment organisation which I’m very excited about. A huge part of the role will be connecting and collaborating with people along with lots of travel in my home state (very Aquarius in the 3rd house!). Interestingly enough, the job came out of the blue via an ex-colleague on the day of the recent lunar eclipse in Aquarius which took place exactly across my nodal axis!! Don’t you love it when astrology and life events line up so beautifully?! Anyway, thanks again Julie for your wonderfully put interpretation

Being destined to be single isn’t a bad guess, but it’s not where I would go with this–if Juno/SN is within 5 degrees of the MC, I’d see this as Self-empowerment through the career, with the advantage of being able to bring a lot of what is likely instinctive experience to the effort. There appears to be a mandate to ’shine’ (Leo) and to reach out (9th House), so my thought is that you are perhaps meant to pour a lot of energy into the career, and thereby learn how communications and connections can serve to move you forward in life(NN in 3rd). Juno for women is about Self-empowerment within a social framework (of which marriage is a part), while for men it much more signifies partnership attitudes and expectations. Good luck, Jodie!

Hi Julie, thank you for your interesting take on Juno. I haven’t thought about her in terms of empowerment before so it’s been enlightening. What do you think Juno conjunct the South Node (Leo, 9th house but close to MC) would mean in empowerment terms? I’ve tended to interpret this as meaning that marriage or long term partnership may not be part of my journey this time around (I’m 38 and single!) but maybe that’s too simplistic?! Thanks

just out of curiosity, ive been doing some reading and would like to get some insight on how to read juno opposite mc and pallas conjunct moon n venus w a sextile to jupiter, an inconjunction to saturn n uranus coupled by a semi square to a sun lilith and perhaps the s.node… i shall await ur reply ms.jane..
