Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson: Why all the fighting?

… the couple went nuclear and started screaming at each other while hosting a party at Mansion. The fight spilled out into an alley behind the club, where Lohan screeched at Ronson, “When I storm off, you are supposed to follow me!”

and then at a hotel

… several sources heard crashing sounds and screaming coming from their room until the fight spilled out into the hallways at about 11 a.m. …. “They were punching each other – it was bad,” a spy said …. “Mirrors were broken and it was a complete mess,” another spy said.

Lohan — born July 2, 1986 — is a Cancer. Ronson — born August 7, 1977 — is a Leo. (Source: Wikipedia.) These are totally incompatible signs (water and fire), so what’s the source of attraction? Ronson’s Venus — planet of love and attraction — is in Cancer, five degrees away from Lohan’s Sun. Lohan’s Venus is in Leo, four degrees from Ronson’s Sun. Hence, they’re both obviously attracted to each other, as their respective love planets are drawn to the Sun sign qualities in each other.

However, Ronson’s Saturn is exactly conjunct Lohan’s Venus. Saturn is the planet of maturity, restriction and responsibility. On one level, Saturn in Ronson’s chart may signify her being “senior” (an eleven year age difference) to Lohan. Perhaps she has something to teach Lohan — and certainly this combination can help to solidify commitment — but she may also not react warmly to Lohan’s Venus in Leo drama queen moments. What works for this actress on the silver screen doesn’t necessarily work in the relationship.

And what’s with the tempers? Both of these ladies have aspects in their natal charts relating to increased aggressive tendencies. Lohan has an exact semisquare (a 45 degree angle) between her Capricorn Mars (planet of anger) and her Scorpio Pluto (planet of destruction). Ronson’s Gemini Mars is trine Pluto in Libra. Lohan’s Mars-Pluto aspect is much more stressful as it’s hard (meaning “harmonically”) and tight (as in “orb”), but either way you put it, the combination of these two volatile planets spells “trashed hotel room.”
