Sun conjunct Mars in Sagittarius: Angry in a Big Way

I’ve been overreacting this way and that for the last few days, and another astrologer recently suggested I look at where tomorrow’s Sun-Mars conjunction falls in my chart. Lo and behold, it’s in my Fourth House and square my Seventh House Sun.
The last two days I’ve come home after a long day of work, resentful that I then had to prepare a meal for the family, letting my feelings be known in no uncertain terms. (I usually cook when I get home, and don’t put up a fuss.) The Fourth House governs home and family, and the conjunction of these two “hot” planets is firing up my anger in this area of my life.
Mars is the warrior planet, and displays an aggressive, impulsive energy that cares most about fulfilling its own egoic needs. The Sun brightens and vitalizes any planet that it conjoins. Put ‘em together, and you have a pretty powerful Martian force to contend with. In Sagittarius, this conjunction’s expression is large. Jupiter large.
So instead of just silently brewing, I’m making big displays of my anger, particularly because this Sun-Mars conjunction is rubbing my Pisces Sun the wrong way. A square is an aspect in which planets make a 90-degree angle with each other, and with so much friction going on, some kind of action needs to be taken.
The Seventh House — where my Sun resides — is not only the house of marriage; it generally signifies The Other. Thus, I’m also irritated about having to deal with people in general. At work. In the forum. Perhaps in line with the Sun’s transit through my Fourth House, I just want to retreat into my home, and not have to deal with any of it.
With the Sun-Mars conjunction in Sagittarius, you may act from a place of arrogance or self-righteousness, or in exaggerated displays of anger in which you try to ram your beliefs down others’ throats. Once you’ve come back down from the heights of Mount Olympus and seen your outbursts from a more sober perspective, they can all seem a bit over the top.
And by then, they’re hard to take back.

I’m rockin’ today and just feel super energized. This conjunction is happening in my 11th house and is sextile to my natal Venus..semi sex my Asc. I went to a tattoo parlor and met with the artist who is going to be designing a piece for my back, it was very pleasant!
I also have Jupiter heading into orb with my Sun and Venus is still there. I’m riding rainbows and finding puppies wherever I go. La dee da!

The Sun and Mars are exactly conjunct my natal Neptune at 13 Sag 49′ in the 4th house. They’re making a loose square to my Ascendant at 10 Virgo 55′ and sextile to Pluto at 10 Libra 06′. The orb is probably too wide to say that they’re inconjunct Mars at 10 Cancer 00′.
I just feel weird. I feel like staying home. I feel extremely irritated with the woman who shares my office. I can’t tell whether I am being passive-aggressive, or if she’s the one behaving that way. It’s just annoying. I”m tired, yet high-strung.
Jeffrey, feel much better soon. don’t let anger get you especially if you know where it is coming from and why. I had too a very irate day, full of nervous energy. But a glass of red wine and now having dinner is warming life up again. It is very nice that you cook at home and don’t make a fuss. You are a nice man. I hope you are having a lovely evening
Also Sun conjunct Mars in Sagittarius seems like fun. LOts of positive abundant energy. Why does it make you angry? Should be fun, no? or is it your personal chart conflicting with it? I don’t know much about astrology but learning. Have a better day tomorrow, ok? Good night to all.
I’ve been snippy lately and pessimistic this last week especially towards my dad. Last night I woke up at 1AM after having a nice dream about holding my baby and started crying and I couldn’t hold anything back my emotions and head hurt so bad and I just didn’t know how to deal with it and i feel like crap lately.
Does this have to do with my Mars in Pisces? or my house alignment?
I’m so confused, and being deluded and torn lately things just hurt wayyy more than I would ever have thought they would.
I’ve had Sun/ Mars in the 5th square Chiron in 8th , with trines to the Moon in the 1st & Sun 8/9th cusp…
What a bitter sweet combination that was!!
I worked as a masseuse/ trainer at a 3 day Touch Football event ..was introduced to lots of people & had to stay in a nice place, but had to share with a creepy coach, who decived me into thinking i’d have my own accomodation.
Chiron (wound) in Pisces..deception? in the 8th of shared resources.
I felt isolated & irritated even though I was with a team, (who i hardly knew), & in a massive 800 community of players….
I couldnt wait to leave.
I ‘d been looking forward to this new side of my career. This event only emphasised my current wounds.
funny it’s on my natal moon- in 3rd house which makes me happy and talkative and fiery I guess about my emotions but it’s square the transiting Saturn /Uranus opposition for everyone but for me squaring up my natal ascendant/Pluto conjunction – maybe I say something terrifying- note to self keep you mouth shut at least until after the full moon in Gemini on the 1th of dec and the big bad grand square- that’s in my 9th- perhaps news form boys from far away???
