I hate to say it, but I still can’t quite say the “4″ word… and with natal Uranus at 22 Virgo, am rapidly approaching the opposition… but… am continuing to fight it! (but then, I think that is something to do with 2 & a bit years of Uranus/ASC & Uranus/Sun conjunctions…

I’ve survived all those milestones and can personally attest that whatever doesn’t kill us makes us older, fatter, grayer, saggier, and slower. But, you know, in a good way. As part of the Pluto in Virgo generation, I’ve spent my years as an astrologer being shouted down by the Pleos (heh) and unable to keep up with all you kickboxing, iPhoning, tweetering, Helenistic, socially adroit Pluto in Libra whippersnappers. But who knows; maybe having our first Pluto in Virgo president will give my underachieving generation the confidence to stand up a little straighter and get a word in edgewise!

Couple of thoughts though.
I have Saturn in Aries, so the older I get, the younger I look. I have Jupiter in Leo, so my hair simply won’t recede, and I have Virgo rising, so I can’t live with a big gut.

Do I still get to join?

I’m laughing, Jeff. I’ve often wondered how long any Young Astrologers group can call the entity young…at what age? Is 40 the new 20? And in a tradition that’s all about ancient knowledge, has there ever been a benefit in being young? Other than being incredibly hip that is

I must say though, the Pluto in Leo generation started it (sorry, PLeos) The flock of PLeos at astrology groups I’ve attended made it hard to get a word in edgewise. Always, the PLeos, with hands raised and ‘but what about Me, and MY CHART?’ We had to stand up, be counted, and start our own. Ya know?

Oh, and no Uranus return yet…but are there discounts for old souls?

I want in! I just had a birthday and officially in the middle age thingy, have knee pain…back pain sometimes…and well, not too bad considering I should work out more.

Sag here, supposed to be athletic…I am more of a cerebral one unfortunately.
