Happy Holidays, and Sasstrology’s New Year’s Resolutions
December 23, 2008 by Jeffrey Kishner
Regardless of your faith or lack thereof, the end of December is a significant period of transition. Virtually all of the holidays celebrate Light, either in their rituals or origins. Astrologically, the Winter Solstice signals a turning point in which the days start to become longer. We’ve reached a point of darkness, and can only go up.
Here at Sasstrology, we’ll continue to post Daily Sky updates and Weekly Love Horoscopes. However, the sex, love and celebrity posts will be at a minimum while I get some much-needed rest.
This website is not even two months old, even though I feel like it’s been much longer. Nonetheless, it is a work-in-progress, and I’m trying to figure out what it wants to be. Although I have my original vision, it is very much up to you, the reader, how Sasstrology evolves.
So, please help me develop some New Year’s Resolutions for Sasstrology!
On my end, I’m committed to posting the daily and weekly astrology as mentioned above, plus at least one Sex and Relationship post written by myself or a contributor each week.
But I’d like to hear what you want. The celebrity posts haven’t garnered much interest as far as I can tell, so I’m curious who you’d like to hear about. More about relationship astrology applied to celebrity couples? Or a look at the transits (astrological cycles) behind gossipy news?
Are there any additional features you’d like added to Sasstrology? And what do you think of Daily Sky and Weekly Love Horoscopes?
With your help, I can enter the New Year with some clarity with regards to Sasstrology’s growth.
Having put that request out, I wish you all a Happy Holiday. May you find warmth and love. As much as so many of us are looking to share it with that “special someone,” LOVE really transcends the bond of one-on-one adult partnership. We can find love in our parents, friends, children, pets; with strangers; in the act of creating; in communing with God.
Let’s all focus on all the abundance we do have right now. It is all too easy to take that for granted when we pine for what we feel we lack.

I like relationship astrology analysis, so I’ll vote for that, whether it involves celebrities or not. (They do make useful examples.)
I agree I would be interested in more information regarding love, sex and just relationships in general. I also believe that many of the people here that visit the site are interested in this as well. I honestly am not too interested in the celebrity aspect. Just my personal opinion.
Hi Jeff, I’m a long time lurker. I really like your new site. Like the others I find the daily and weekly astrology most interesting, celebrities less so.
The daily astrology posts are short and succinct but capture the energy of the day really concisely, and the weekly love horoscopes are fun to read, and useful to bearing in mind regarding all relationships, not just romantic ones. I like that you now put the astrological deconstruction right below the reading.
Looking forward to the continued growth of Sasstrology.
Best wishes for 2009.
General info on Sex and relationships fo sho! I believe pop media has the celebrity market cornered. Practical advise however, is thoroughly needed and appreciated!!!
Yeah, I do find the celebrity stuff interesting – but it prob wouldn’t bother me if it fell by the wayside, either.
I just want more Scorp posts. ;o) haha
Love your site Jeffrey, and the great advice you give.
