My Sun is at 0° Pisces. I had just one clear pass of the transit Saturn opposed Sun last year at around this time. That transit was coupled with a Saturn conjunct Pluto transit, too. The effect was all-encompassing, land-locking, and all about boundaries, shedding ego, growing pains.

As Pisces, we're getting a sextile from Pluto, too, so it's like after landing in the desert, we get a rare plan. Greetings and a soft little tap on the glass and a wave to your personal Aquarium, oh Pisces brother. Together we are strong.

Me? Saturn squaring natal Sun, Neptune squaring itself, and Pluto opposing my Jupiter. Oh, and my Saturn opposition.

I feel like Jeff Bridges in one of my favourite movies.. "Fearless"... laughing and shouting at God about "you want to kill me, but you CAN'T!!" :)

I'VE BEEN GOING THROUGH IT TOO. I don't know whats going on but I find myself in a rut and still trying to be positive and productive. Its an inner battle. I feel just sort of discontent and don't know what to do about it. I do get the sense that I need to let go of something and just recently realized it could be my ex. I thought I let her go but I guess I really haven't. It still hurts when I let it hurt. I'm a leo and have been enjoying my summer of solar eclipse joy! except for the past couple of weeks so its really bringing me down. And, Jeff, whatever you decide to do I really love your blogs and have missed them, I really hope you continue blogging. Even if its once a week or something simple. Good luck, man! And take good care of yourself.

My Sun opposite Saturn happened two years ago, when I took my current day job. It was relentless, the demands on my time, the demands to produce workproduct, the insane expectations of my bosses. And in the end, no one appreciated my efforts (that theme being prevalent in my chart). When it was over, I took some serious dings emotionally and professionally that had nothing to do with how well I was performing. (For me, that Saturn squared my Mars in the twelfth house and I really got to find out about secret enemies.) One step, one day at a time was how I took things. When the firestorm was over, I realized that I had to change where I put my efforts and I got the gig at 451 Press, starting my career as an astrology blogger.

The whole thing was not about paring down my life, but standing up to it. Not backing down, not turning away. Accepting who I was, faults and all. Accepting what could and what could not be changed, because Saturn resists change after all. Now Saturn is opposite my moon, having me relive emotionally the effects of the Saturn opposite the Sun time. Some days I just get up and go do the things I have to do. It will pass. I am getting excited about some projects that I've put off, working on a couple books, picking up freelance jobs, still blogging nearly every day. It will pay off, because its what I want to do.

But Mr Sun in Pisces, Moon in Aquarius, you don't need anyone to remind you to do what it is you want to do. My best advice: Schedule your down time. Take vitamins. One day at a time.

God Bless

@may, the name will be a surprise, but trust me, it will be fun.

@Valkyrie, you're welcome, and thanks for being such a helpful presence here. I've learned alot from your comments.

@leslee, reading about these natal Saturn-Sun aspects drives home how much discipline is required to stay healthy. Gotta cut down on the sugar and get more sleep...

Hey Jeff, do what you have to do. I enjoy this place no matter what your role in it is, or where it resides. It's the only astrology blog/place that I do visit regularly anymore. My interest waxes and wanes, and has over the last 25 years, and you help me keep in touch. Thank you. Take care of yourself.

Hey Laura - I subscribed to your blog too because I've enjoyed your recent series here so much. I keep reading what you write and believe that we think very much alike sometimes. I think maybe I figured out why. I am also a 25 degree Piscean. March 15th here.

Thanks both of you for pointing out what is coming up for me too. I am also feeling "out of sorts" lately, with all sorts of crap happening. Crap that feels more like something Scorpio (I keep finding new relatives - and not 2nd cousins either - sisters, and the biggest surprise, a 2 year old granddaughter). Anyhow, I've been so confuzzled by it all that the movements of the planets has all but escaped me. Now it makes a bit more sense and now I can look at it with a sense of where to start looking.

Again, thanks for all you do Jeffrey, it's appreciated - and you too Laura and everyone else that contributes.
