Social Bookmarking: What Tools Do You Use?

September 25, 2008 by Jeffrey Kishner

I may be wrong, but I believe the typical Seduction Central visitor is not a tech geek. The latter folk are familiar with twitters, stumbles and diggs, but I’m not sure you are. I want to know because I’m interested in how you “share the love.”

If you read a post (or even a comment) here that answers your question or illuminates you, do you tell your friends? And if so, how?

If you have a moment, please help me out. I’d like to know what Web2.0 tools you use to share your favorite websites with your online friends. Please click on all the services that you utilize in the poll below:

Do you want to connect with me on some of these services? Check out my MyBlogLog page.

I’m not gemini enough to possess all of those social networking tools (looks at gemini roommate).

Funny, because my gemini roommate talks about what people she knows put on twitters all the time. And I mean

    A L L THE T I M E

I actually just have facebook and email and I am too wary of being watched by corporations.

I’m technical enough, though I’m not NEARLY social enough. It takes both to bother with those things. I’ll go back to my COBOL program now, thanks.

I do most of my “microblogging” on twitter and my facebook status updates. Follow me at twitter.com/kishner – I usually either complain about my life or promote blog posts.

Facebook is great for keeping up with friends and what they are doing. I use Stumbleupon too and come across some amazing people. My space is too young for me as are many of the social network sites. I guess that’s why FB is so popular. You can have a site that really is for you and your friends. Some sites have a huge loyal following and host members who joined several years ago with thousands of posts to their credit. I have a pile of on-line friends but don’t know my neighbours name……..that’s sad in a way don’t you think?
