Do you want to know the astrology behind the horoscopes?

It would be instructional for beginners and more interesting for the initiated if a taste of the underlying astrology informing these horoscopes were included…(like: Gemini: Pluto is finally leaving Sag, packing up and leaving the opposition blah blah)-maybe more specific… This blog is an excellent resource for people who are interested in going deeper than the daily horoscope-I’m totally impressed by the level of discussion and the open-mindedness and interest of people here!
Are you interested in the astrology behind the ’scopes? If so, I’d be willing to publish a breakdown on Tuesdays, kind of like a postmortem after a football game.
A horoscope writer bases her horoscopes on an ephemeris, which shows where all the planets are at any given day. I could tell you where September’s Venus-Mars conjunction falls in your solar chart, for example.
I’m not likely to respond to specific chart questions in the comments section, though. (Like, “If the Venus-Mars conjunction falls in my Third House, what does that mean?”) Read the horoscopes, that’s why they’re there!
P.S. — Do you have the horoscopes Google Gadget installed on your iGoogle page? If so, please leave a comment and give it a rating!

Sure, I’d love that! But I’m glad you’re considering doing it separately from the ’scopes themselves; Michelle Pillar’s ’scopes are blessedly free of technical clutter. Some explanation is okay, but I hate it when a clear interpretation gets bogged down by excessive reference to what should essentially be the astrologer’s process. Just my two cents….
I absolutely totally agree. It’s for the readers who want to understand the astrologer’s process. I am very attached to keeping the scopes themselves virtually jargon-free.
