Keep up the great work!

I am a Gemini woman. I have met a Leo man and much to my own dismay did not put up much of the fight I typically do as he had some sort of instant and somewhat intoxicating charm. We have been spending quite a bit of time together – me lavishing him with my time and some fairly expensive football outings, he lavishing me with attention (while we’re together) both by paying for everything, cooking for me, etc. I’ve heard that Leo’s who show vulnerability towards a woman are somewhat “caught” so to speak – and he does that – in spades. He is overwhelmingly affectionate and, to some degree, almost a child especially when he is tired. The problem becomes that he is overwhelmed with life at the moment and doesn’t initiate communication. When I do, however, he seems thrilled to see or hear from me.

I am a typical Gemini and do not give my heart out with any serious intention very often – but I’m afraid I have genuine feelings for this man. Is there any way to “backtrack” so to speak? I do not want to lose his attention. This may sound a bit egocentric but I am not concerned about his need to feel others want what he “has.” I am often asked if I model and in all reality could have something else going on if I wanted – but I don’t. I want this Leo – and I’m terrified that I may have wasted the chance to have a real relationship with him.

Any advice would be wonderful. I don’t want him to rule my life but I certainly don’t want to let him fall off the radar and if I play the “wait until he calls” game, that may very well happen. Please help.

And for all the women saying ignoring works the best with LEO men, I can say that is the exact opposite of what LEO guys are looking for. Especially the silent stable mature emotional rock KINGS, They know exactly WHY they test you the immature ones don’t understand why they do it so they get mad. They only brush you off and give you the cold treatment as a test to see your level of devotion to a mutual relationship of passion and love with them. (Weak women will just go away and only the strong and passionate ones will break through) I.e. they give you a taste of what they can give you and then wait for it to be returned in equal measure. They will come back, but only to remind you that you’re not honoring your heart and feeling towards them, then they’ll go away and wait some more, until you honor your feelings for them also. A Leo man knows what he wants and usually knows how he affects you, (sometimes we can literally feel your feelings for us in our guts and heart) and if you’re in denial and unable to show your feeling and return the generous passion we give, then he will be your friend but still work on other women (but not to worry) Leo guys are picky and potential true life long mates are very few and far between for us, IF WE EVER find one worthy of undying divine passion and devotion.

If you hate the confusion and waiting and have faith and strength in your bond together you can try it. But just prepare yourself ahead of time incase if it doesn’t turn out the way you want it to. Just be sure of yourself and your own self-love, even in the face of that type of hurt. (Him saying no or not yet or i just want FWB with you) But even after a negative response stand strong and he will have no choice but to realize that you truly are the one for him, to face that and not flinch and still be there, just like he can do for you. It probably might be a bluff also, he could already be head over heals with you and knows himself that he can not cheat on you and is hopelessly devoted, but he wants to know that you are secure and ultimately HIS relationship is secure IN and WITH you also. I am seeking advice more so then wanting to post a comment.

I am a Scorpio woman, and I have a male friend that is a Leo. he is very well known, sucessful, and has a fan base that is huge. No, he’s not a celeberty, but many woman want him and many men want to be him. I have known him for 3 years and he’s always said how much I turn him on but, He had a reputation of getting any woman he wanted when he wanted and if he didn’t have sex with you in the first few days he didn’t deal with you, when I met him. so although I liked him A LOT! I kept my distance when it came to going to the bedroom. The reputation was once true, but what I realized was right around the time I met him, he had begain to grow out of that rep. He said he saw the dammage it caused, and he was tired of the negativity and angry female attention. Well, so far he has lived up to this grown up guy. I will, admit because of the way he spoke of woman and how they threw themselves at him, which I witnessed on many occations. I allowed that to intimidate me. I know he didn’t know I was intimidated, because he always said he loved my strenght, independence, the fact that I wasn’t petty and he liked the fact that I wasn’t the type that flocked like many other woman.
I allowed our relationship to grow slowly, and I continued to maintain a friendship of respect for who and what he was, and he did the same when it came to me.
We in so many way desided neither of us wanted a relationship because we had just come out of long relationships. he knew I has been sulibit for 22 months, and said on many occations he wanted me sexually. After 7 months of hanginng tough, seeing each other at least 3 times a week, we had sex. NO, it wasn’t earth shaking. I think we both waned it so bad things turned out just OK! As time went on it got better, but not GREAT, keep in mind, I’m a SCORPIO in every sense of the word. Very sexual, sentual and I know I turn him on, his reaction to me, and the way he look at me when he see me, tells me this much. He has continued to maintain this I don’t have and don’t want a girlfrined attitude, and from what I see he doesn’t. Although I date, I’m not seeing anyone either. I can go to his house whenever I want, show up wherever he is, and he’s always the same. Even if there are women in his presence, his demenor doesn’t change. I do know it is because I have proven I’m not the type to jump to conclusions, trip or question. We have never even had a disagreement.
We are still good friends, and we ingage every now and then in sex. He alway calls me when he needs advice in serious matters, he always shows love, and the utmost respect when I see him. Sense we are not in a relationship I don’t impose, and neither does he. We talk on the phone once or twice a week, and I see him regularly.
If I had to give you a bit of insight on why I think he hasn’t tried to take things to another level, I would have to say it is because, he doesn’t have children, and has always said he dosn’t want them AT ALL!!! Well I have children. He has never said it, nor has he ever implied the children would be reason for him not to take this someplace. One thing I have to add is, I have never introduce him to my children, and he has never asked to meet them. Now, I will also say I have been devoirced for 7 years and NO man that I have delt with in those 7 years has been around my children. Of course my reason for that is I haven’t met anyone I felt has proven ready to bring around them.
He always ask how they are doing, ask about their activities, and schooling and He know them by name. he has seen pictures, and has even made sure I am ok finantually when it comes to things I may say they need.
Other then that, I can’t put a finger on why after three years, given the fact that he has mad comments about me being marrage meterial, beautiful inside and out, and trust worthy. He’s expressed deep levels of trust, and respct for me. He has even said (exact words) I can f*** any body, but when I want to experss myself in ways like make love, and enjoy beautiful intamacys, I do it with you. All this and he won’t take things
to another level.
So my biggest unknown is, did I go wrong some where?

or am I looking for something he’s just not ready for?

I am truely one NOT to rush into things, be in love alone, or hold on to a man that doesn’t want ot be held. So can you give me any advise in what I can or should do in this matter?

interesting i really didnt know leo guys generally are one for the hunt. i envisaged them always as the more mature lions where the lionesses are the hunter types, and sexually the successful lion just take its pick of the litter. this post makes more sense thou, it reminds me of aries except leo i suppose is more charming and draws attraction (fixed) and so is more subtle about go getting, whereas aries is a little more crude, direct. also the types that they go for- leo more confident, aries more flimsy perhaps. ramble ramble

anyway for males especially the fire signs seem the easiest to understand of all the elements in this regard, except sagittarius which, theoretically seems more aloof and approaching air almost and is a mystery to me i guess. the athlete-philospher seems a bit of a myth. leo being one of the most graspable of signs makes sense thou, as we can almost all see the sun just like voila.

I do know Leo women, and they are ferocious and very dominating, actually a lot different then Leo Men.

They tend to wear the crown in the relationship and really need to be the center of her man's attention as well.

Thanks so much for reading my love advice post Star Crossed Lovers? The three C’s theory is dead on but there are several extenuating circumstances pertaining to my situation that don't ascribe to the simplicity of your method. Every relationship is a custom job. I wrote my posting in hope that the stars night have a better reason for why there is always a major reason why my Leo Sun/Scorp Asc/Caner Moon cannot meet up his "socalled love of his life Virgo Sun/Taurs Moon/Leo Asc. We are both busy and hav been in long term transitions in our lived I e grad school, and major illnesses. I refuse to compromise and chase him and he knows I am not putting my life hold for him. So the ball is always and entirely in his court. I know that your advice is dead on for us Leo lovers and I think it can also apply to most other men. Any man worth having doesn’t want the weakest of he heard they want the rush of chasing the strongest and I am one of the strongest. And he has stayed like a fixture in my life for the past three years always there always supportive always letting me know that I am supposed to be with him and that is supposedly why things don’t work out with other men I date. I respond with “I don’t see you banging down my door.” Toss my hair and ask him if he’s seen any good movies. Who know what life holds.

You and your Leo man seemed to have some great compatibility, I mean that is obvious, since you have had some strange events keeping you involved. Even with astrology, I'm learning that timing and free will is still always going to test even the best astrological love aspects between two people. Especially, in modern life, men and women have their own personal goals to accomplish, such as grad school, which all effects the timing of you two coming together to make it work.
Have you looked at both of your progressed aspects to see if their are negative aspects going on temporarily?

@ anonymous I had to have my leo ex surgically removed after I had broken up with him.

He continued to try and get back with me while he had a new girlfriend (who attacked me while I was holding a baby in my arms…because she hated me and hated that he talked about me all the time…I would have just dumped him if I were her…anyways..)and I had a new pisces man who I was very happy on the town with!!

I eventually moved out of town and thats how I got him to leave me alone.

I think some leos have too much pride to watch their jungle princess move away, they feel it's only a "matter of time" before she is back in his cave, nestled under him.

Leo has the rare ability to Forgive AND Forget. As in truly forgive, and truly forget. They are generous souls.

As a mature Leo male, I can give you some info about us but it might or might not pertain to your situation.

If we befriended you and open up to you as a good friend sharing our inner personal feelings and thoughts. And then find out that you broke the circle of trust with us, by telling all your girlfriends or others about us for show and tell or to boost your own ego or esteem. I met a leo male… I am an aries women so we had great compadibility. He would tell me things like " if i cant have you i do not want anyone"… We had one small fight and he has not contacted me since. It is becoming extremely diffucult. Do you think he will ever contact me again?
