I would much prefer a guy to cry to please me, it really works on my emotions, and makes me feel safe. If we’re watching a movie and I see him tear up, I have to say I am impressed by it. I do happen to be a modern girl though, maybe not all gals are like me. My Mars sign is in Gemini opposite Neptune.

I haven’t decided on a dream guy and it’s probably not a good idea because you’ll never really know who comes into you’re life – dreams are like that; they come and go on their own. It’s a lot more suprising and fun. I don’t have any preferences except that I don’t want to “mommy” him (The last guy has his venus in Cancer and surpringly it just didn’t work out). I’m actually attracted to a lot of types of people (maybe this is my Libran nature to like everyone). One day I’m falling heads of a heels at a passionate Scorpion in the business field (I wish I could look crisp in a suit), then along comes a mellowed out Virgo with a jam band.

All right…first to give you some astrological facts about myself:

Sun in Capricorn in 2nd house
ASC Scorpio
Venus conjunct Uranus in Sagittarius in 1st
Moon in Aquarius in 3rd
Mars in Libra in 11th

Now I’m ready to confess:)…I just adore androgynous, effeminate, Neptune-colored men!…I’m attracted to that sensitive soul/romantic poet / rock-star ideal (think Byron of XXI century …I love them for their fragility, sensitivity and empathy…Being able to cry is a plus:)

It’s not that I think all men should be like that, it’s just that I don’t notice macho alpha male types at all, I find their kind of sexuality repulsive and aggressive…Which is in the end all a matter of taste, isn’t it?

I guess it’s my Mars in Libra’s fault-as it would symbolize “weaker” men…and VE0UR gave me the preference for the unusual…

And sometimes as much as I am drawn to it I fear his softer side thinking he might be bisexual. He laughs when I've mentioned this to him. He doesn't get mad though. He is that strong in his sense of self. And I know I am just falling prey to society and history not the reality of who he is. I think men who are in touch with their Venus side make the best lovers, fathers and friends.

This is such a great statement. My bf has well integrated "female" planets. He has tons of water and nearly all of his planets are in feminine signs. He's sensitive, he has depth and he is my best friend. Yet there's this horrible duality of wanting a masculine and sensitive man, then projecting that societal fear that he might be gay if he's too sensitive. As an Aries Sun, Merc and Venus, I have had to train myself to stop looking for myself in him...he could easily say that I am too masculine and fear that I am gay! With Venus in Virgo, and Mercury in Libra, he is incredibly tactful, courteous and polite. He often demonstrates more of the "feminine graces" than I do. I tend to be aggressive and I lack tact and sensitivity.

@bluegrass, He’d experience a conflict between his self-identity as a somewhat conservative, nurturing, sensitive guy AND being emotionally brash and impulsive. He may well be attracted to Aries-type women.

yup i agree suits are fab. by far my fave outfit for a man. of course, a guy can work it with an edge think a la david beckham the venusian bend it like this, Taurus extraordinaire. he has metro a bit in the past but i dont think most people question if he is masculine, like a true child of venus, madame, he can have it all.
