Which female celebs have the most sex appeal?

December 20, 2007 by kishner

I’m interested in doing a series of case studies on the astrological factors relating to sex appeal.

Which celebs do you find the sexiest? I don’t necessarily mean looks-wise — I mean actresses and musicians who just have it regardless of whether they’d look hot airbrushed on the cover of Cosmo.

Please comment below with your submissions, and include what it is about them that you find appealing.

(And don’t worry, I’ll cover the guys next!)

  1. Natalie says:

Oh, I’d have to say Scarlett Johansen(sp?), Angelina Jolie (even though I LOATHE her for stealing Brad from Jen) and Charlize Theron.

  2. Victoria says:

That’s interesting Natalie, your choice of those three women. They all like to portray dark and dangerous characters in their movies, controversial bitchy roles, and definitely not girl-next-door.

  3. Ayla says:

    Hmm. Here’s my picks:

    Eliza Dushku
Ali Larter (girl needs to eat a sandwich or five though)
    Queen Latifah
    Kathryn Morris
    Monica Bellucci
    Olivia Wilde
    Salma Hayek

I’m sure there are more that I go guh over but I’m awful with names. And, you know, remembering things in general.

  4. Jeffrey Kishner says:

Scarlett Johansson is dull, not dark and dangerous.

  5. victoria says:

she plays some pretty dark roles . . . a sultry smoke and mirrors high-class escort with dangerous liasons is the one I remember best

Black Dahlia, The Prestige, Just Cause . . . I’ve only seen her in dark movies still I haven’t seen them all

  6. Natalie says:

I would have to say, the women I picked have HIGH sex appeal…to me. I would swing the other way for them. They have this strange magnetism about them. The alluring lips and eyes. I also like Cameron Diaz. However, my ALL time favorite actress, due to TALENT, would have to be Sandra Bullock. Anyone know off hand what signs these women I picked out possess? Any connection or reason why I may have chosen them due to my chart?? :)

  7. LJ says:

Angelina Jolie, Monica Bellucci, Beyonce (more the body than the personality), Jessica Alba, and susan sarandon

  8. Curious says:

What is it about Andie MacDowell? She is not your typical beauty, rather odd features actually, with gums showing in her smile, strange brows, small inset eyes. She improves with age and radiates health and confidence. Her voice, perhaps? She never shows much of her body in any films nor emphasizes her sexuality in any obvious way. Yet so many men find her appealing. I’m convinced the energy is from her chart, because from just looking at her, you wouldn’t think she was anything special; but when she’s on screen, it’s magic.

  9. bis says:

i agree on Scarlett and Angelina. classically beautiful yet unique faces and air to them, nice bodies, voices, subtly exotic.

    Adriana Lima
    Nigella Lawson
    Bipasha Basu
    Amrita Rao
    Maria Sharapova
    Queen Rania Al-Abdullah of Jordan

overall they all have something, either dark features and somehow with an allure to them or very classical gorgeous sexy (literally classical in features, not classic). interesting career niches from domestic goddess to super tennis athletissima to bollywood star to global activists give the whole package an appeal. but really sexy is a quality of its own u cant really ever put ur finger on. that is why it is so so.

ps. i personally dont see scarlett as dark/dangerous however i do tend to see flashing light highly indicative ways of playing the dark dangerous stick as pretty dull.?? i dont think she does that thou.. she does her own thing.

  10. May says:

Some people say I look like Shannyn Sossamon from “40 days and 40 nights” and the America’s Next Top Model Naima Mora (and appearantly people in NY stop me thinking I was her, also.)

I guess they have that creative, tomboyish, and funky sex-appeal. For me, it’s okay. Maybe because I have it. My venus is in Aries conjuncts ascendant.

But what I REALLY like (perhaps this is my taurus sun fighting with the venus in aries), are these classic pin up women in vintage posters by artists like Alberto Vargas, Gil Elvgren.

Can you help me with this Feminism vs femininity thing? I believe you mentioneded something with not identifying with your venus. For me It’s either going back and forth with my venus or sun all the time. Please help!

  11. Jeffrey Kishner says:

@May, how people perceive you (Venus in Aries conj Asc) differs from how you ID yourself (Taurus Sun). All I can say is that it sounds frustrating to fluctuate between two wildly different parts of yourself. I think the key is to just get some distance from the conflict and learn to embrace both parts of yourself, to see that you can rely on Aries or Taurus depending on what the situation calls for.

  12. Victoria says:

I suppose it’s because she’s a natural blonde. Nothing dark nor dangerous about that, just effectively deceptive. Since she is a Scorpio Moon born on the day the Sun left Sagittarius and entered Scorpio and the year Pluto entered Scorpio. 11/22 is a powerful day on it’s own with the double digit vibration. She is a force to be reckoned with. It would be interesting to do her dull chart.

  13. victoria says:

Oops, the sun left Scorpio and entered Sagittarius ;)

    I’m only human . . .

  14. victoria says:

oh yeah and it’s should be its

good grief I should go to sleep already

  15. sélénée11 says:

    my choice goes to:
Halle Berry (i don’t really like her movies but i think she looks stunning!)

Madeleine Stowe(love the dignified air about her and (strangely) her unsmiling face..lol she’s like an ice queen but HOT)

Michelle Pfeiffer(now she’s been a fav of mine always.. i think it’s the eyes)

Sofia Vergara(she is absolutely oozing sexiness… i wonder if i dnt like her so much because she’s cancer like me :-)

Uma Thurman (omg… this one is peculiar… loved her in Kill Bill.. Black Mumba.. she portrays danger and POWER of the Female so well) AND

Aishwarya Rai( she’s too beautiful and talented.. plus she’s a scorpio.. heheh)

  16. whatever says:

Peculiar? Oh yeah, Uma Thurman is like SCARY

(as in the movie My Super-Ex Girlfriend)

  17. whatever says:

I think she played a Scorpio with a Cancer ascendant in that one

  18. Ant says:

Hmm, someone that springs to mind is Jenny Seagrove (she plays Jo Mills in that legal drama Judge John Deed). There’s just something about her. I can’t say why…I’m female, but if I was lesbian, I’d so do her…. :P

  19. Sagilarious says:

Why do females get all the fun?

    Benicio del Toro
    Johnny Depp

I know. I just broke to rules by doing boys.

Fine fine. I actually have the hots for Rihanna, if we must do women. And, yes, she is a lady Pisces…hehe. I guess my thing for fish extends to women. Benicio cusps Pisces too.

  20. Sagilarious says:

Oh, and Natalie, she didn’t have to work that hard to steal Brad from Jen. He is a Sag boy. They are easy to steal. I have done it without even trying before.

  21. Victoria says:

Charlton Heston is divine. Oh to worship at the altar of a man like that ;)

  22. Anonymous says:

Wait a minute hold all the posts! You have to say Marilyn Monroe at least once or twice. I would also say Rebecca Romijn and Beyonce. It seems the guys really go crazy for the women that are feminine but can kick but. The movies that play women that are hot and can fight seem to do well on the networks, I found that interesting.
    Sharon

  23. The Usual Unsuspect says:

    Sophie Marceau and Emmanuelle Béart.

  24. Anonymous says:

    Straight woman checking in…

I have to say Shohreh Aghdashloo for a woman who just has IT, despite being as old as my mom and having a remarkably unconventional career. I have no idea what IT is that she has, I just know she commands the screen and has more sex appeal and presence than 99% of the young blond starlets cluttering up the tabloids these days. She is a Taurus/Dragon… both forces to be reckoned with.

  25. lj says:

I’ve noticed that all the women that has been posted on here, that I recognize, especially the ones that are mentioned more than once- usually seems to wear a dark/secretive expression on their face or in their smile, as if to say “I am woman, I’m soft and feminine,I am a gem, strong and powerful…you don’t know the half of it…but I know you want me, respect me.” Yes something in their mannerism seems to convey that messeage and I guess others pick up on it.

  26. Victoria says:

    Yes that Mona Lisa smile.

(she was a little plain if you ask me, but there definitely is something about that smile)

    Spooky-like.
