Weekly Love and Sex Horoscope: December 31 – January 6

December 31, 2007 by kishner

man

On Monday, Mars retrogrades back into Gemini, where he will stay for a few months, stationing direct on January 30 and returning to Cancer on March 4. Throughout the first month of the year, you will have the opportunity to recollect all the ways you’ve talked your way into (and out of) sexual predicaments. Or remember the challenges you’ve faced having to choose between two or more men (unless you just decided to have them all at once.)

wrist bondageWednesday features an aggressive Mars-Pluto opposition. In the wake of Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto’s assassination, one cannot provide an optimistic spin on this aspect. These are both the planets of sex and violence, and Pluto’s dark side is that of the rapist, the manipulator, the underworld pimp. Although you can use this energy to explore sexual taboos and unearth your hidden desires, keep an eye out for people who try to violate your boundaries. This is a planetary powerhouse combination that can manifest in ugly ways.

On Sunday, Venus squares Saturn in the mutable signs Sagittarius and Virgo. Shortly after having left controlling Scorpio, the goddess is now being restrained and judged by the Taskmaster. Her best-laid plans to travel the world and flirt with those sexy Eastern European men are momentarily dashed, as Saturn needs her to stay home and vacuum under the rug. Overall, relationships are challenged and expressions of love are thwarted. Use this time to seriously consider what you want in love, so that you can leave some baggage behind on your way to the airport.

    deep, dark and delicious

  2. Karen says:

    hmm, yes, Victoria, indeed.
I am a little nervous for my own reasons re: the Mars/Pluto oppostion.
I do dig deep, and like unearthing hidden desires *or* motives of my own.
But ..rape or other forms of violence…ya can’t see me, but you might imagine my face just a scond ago, while reading now, twisting my mouth, and eyes wide, my hands for a few sconds just stopped in midair at the very thought of sexual violence.
    :-/ :-0
    proserpine

  3. Victoria says:

I’m not into domination and submission scenarios either but that’s an 8th house thing and mine is empty (thank God) Two men have tried it on me in the past but I started giggling and couldn’t stop, which kind of ruined their mood ;) They just looked so funny with those agitated intent contorted facial expressions that my goofy Gemini moon couldn’t help but enjoy the ironic humour of it all. Of course a little wine helps sweeten the atmosphere . . . bubbly is better! Plus there was jazz piping through the stereo so that made it even funnier. Jazz reminds me of ever so many cats reeling drunk in a dark alley every which way as the sun comes up, poking their noses in rubbish bins in search of slim pickings and falling into them for lack of balance.

  4. The Usual Unsuspect says:

No midnight strolls for me this week. I push my luck too often, bad habit.

  5. Karen says:

UsualUnsu, I always go for midnight strolls..and past midnight strolls too.
However, I take my dog with me always.
It’s a strange thing..I hadn’t read this yet either, but a few days ago, I started feeling weird about walking around at night—and I never do.
The worst time as I’ve read is around 5 or 6 am, or earlier in the summer.dawn hours and predawn.
Even if the woman is not outside walking or whatever–that seems to be when rape happens.
And I also know this from personal experience.

  6. whatever says:

apparently that’s when the testerone levels are up and flying

I hate morning sex ;) please let me sleep already . . .

the nice thing about being single is you can pull a coyote in the middle of the night

  7. The Usual Unsuspect says:

Karen, I can get very restless when I’m unable to go for my midnight lone walk or run (depends on the weather). So far nothing bad has happened to me. I think that fear of certain things happening serves as an invite for such situations to happen (astrology shows it perfectly).

Now it’s too cold to wander outside, unfortunately :(
