But I recognise that just because you love someone, doesn't mean you have to let them abuse you and with him, it's not possible to have any kind of contact without abuse creeping into it. It hurts like hell but I know that my life is so much better without him and that the way I feel now (utterly miserable) will pass.<br/><br/>I would rather have no relationship at all than be verbally and emotionally abused every 2nd or 3rd day and physically abused every few months.<br/><br/>The thing that I find absolutely amazing is that although he has done some really awful things to me, there is still love there.
