When I heard it I was really impressed at how your Virgo ascendant comes through. You carefully respond to each question in a tidy thorough analytical manner, directly and specifically, like a Virgo. You state facts, make excellent references and present your case very logically.

This will certainly keep the skeptics at bay, put them to rest or prompt them to do some research of their own, as you speak like a college teacher and one who treats astrology as the serious science it is.

The discussion was an intellectual discourse, like a lecture in interview format, presented objectively and intelligently. After hearing it I can honestly say I trust your integrity regarding the subject.

And as I find the concept of integrity elusive, your responses concerning the subject matter were refreshingly wholesome, nourishing and provided much food for thought.

The conversation about the void of course moon followed by the question about the Yod (finger of God) was remarkable because all afternoon that day I was thinking about these patterns, in exactly that order.

An old friend born 10/19/59 has his Moon on the exact cusp of Gemini/Taurus as it is switching signs, and this Moon is the finger of his Yod in the 4th, also the handle of his bucket formation.

His mother is extremely important to him and he's been married to the same woman since youth, has two daughters, surrounded by female influence. After getting to know him well I can surely see the Yod energy at play in his life.

Thanks, Allegra. I think the interviewer was interested in astrology, she was probably just opening up the interview with the question many skeptics would ask.

Echoing the others, I was not expecting you to sound like that. Your voice is very soothing, very therapist sounding. In fact I keep listening to it because I like your voice and you give some good information! I have a problem talking as slow and low as you, one because I am usually excited, and two because I always think people stop listening after a point if you speak too slow and without force. Usually when I hear experts on a certain subject speak about their specific area, they seem much more fanatic about it, as though it was a religion or something of the like, whereas you seem to have studied astrology thoroughly before stamping it as valid. You seemed as though you thought about every question she asked, which probably made the skeptics who were listening give astrology another look. So bravo to you!

What you said about Mercury in Aquarius is very true. I find that this placement gives a tendency to want to study the sciences, which can be controversial at times. The interviewer didn't seem very open to the idea of astrology. And that definition she gave was extremely annoying, "pseudoscience?" I am a biology and chemistry double major and astrology is the only science that has proven to be true every time.

Overrall, the interview was very informative. It has gotten me to thinking about the midheaven and north node much more than I have. Two thumbs up!

@scorp, Expressing my enthusiasm verbally has been a life-long challenge. That's why I've gravitated to writing. My passion comes out better via the written word.

I know I posted a comment earlier. Did it get deleted?
ANyway.. comment was..
I liked your voice, it was unexpected. I dont know what I thought it should sound like, but that wasnt it.
I too felt you sounded bored. I thought a bit more enthusiasm would have been good.

I liked the yod explanation.

Random thoughts:

I'm still listening to the interview. I think you sound like you're talking slowly because the interviewer has a more animated voice and speaks faster. It's very interesting listening to the contrasts. I wonder where her Mercury is placed. I have a guess. :)

Is she pronouncing your last name correctly? Like "KiRshner"?

I have some other thoughts, but am gonna save it for a private convo.

Thanks. So should I start thinking of myself as a Cap asc? 23 degrees is a lot of variation. Doesn't this affect interpretations of charts?

Also, congratulations on your first interview. Great job!
