I have known my Cancer for years, but there was something in the way. Now we’re becoming close “friends” as he likes to label it. I’m a Taurus and very sensitive and compassionate to him and his neediness. I love how he smothers me with attention.
He drives me crazy though. I am so in love with this crazy crab it’s rediculous. I always spend the night at his house, after he calls me late at night. No, it’s not a booty call because he wants to take things slow with me.
Slow with me?!? Apparently I’m the only one he has to be “slow” with, because one night while he was sleeping his cell phone was dying and the beep was really annoying. I went to turn it off, but curiosity got the best of me. I opened the phone to find numerous txts from a girl he claims he can’t stand. Saying how he wished she could come over that night, and how he loves the way she feels. I realised I was second choice.
Then, to make matters worse he invited me out to a concert where I had to cab and pay for the admission at the door costing me $50+ and I found out through his sister than our mutual friend took him home.
I am tired of trying to keep his attention. How can he want to keep everything so slow with me, but able to sleep around with other girls? How can he rant and rave on about our connection, then be so cold and distant from me. I want to give him up, I really do… I can’t.
I love this crazy bi-polar type of guy. I must be very sick and masochistic for him to continue to do this crap to me all the time.
I want all of his attention, or none and I don’t know how to grab any of it.

Throughout my life I find that the men I have tended to attract were: fellow Aries, Cancers (several), Aquarians (quite a few), and Sagittarians (never had one, though). Also, a couple of Pisces (but never had one) and Capricorns. On the other hand I fancied a Scorpio once, and though I was told he was very attracted to me back, he ended up running away from me when I started becoming more blatant about my feelings for him… I’ll never know why he ran away at the last minute! This happened eight years ago, soon after I had broken up with my Aqua ex and about 8-9 months before meeting the Cancer whom I would then marry.

When a Cancer man offers to do something for you, let them do it, then make them feel as if you really couldn’t have done without their help. They will beam with a growing confidence in their ability to win you over and be your devoted own forever – at least in my experience!

Brilliant! As it happens, I met my husband’s parents and sister only 3 weeks after we’d been dating. And guess what – it isn’t just my husband that’s a Cancer, but also my mother-in-law. Spending too much time with the two of them, hubby and mother-in-law, can make mean ol’ Aries me feel like I’m wading through molasses!

Thankfully, I CAN cook, and very much enjoy doing it. We both do – it’s something we have come to bond over in time. But it hasn’t always been this way, haha… My husband and my first argument EVER when we’d been dating for just 10 days and it exploded in the kitchen. I was chopping onions for a risotto, to which he started instructing me on how to do it best in this benevolent paternal tone that I immediately identified as patronising (though now that I know him better, I realise that he’d never intended it that way, as he does actually have great respect for me and my way of doing things. He just can’t help himself, it’s his way of expressing his caring for someone!). So there I was chopping onions as I had done millions of times, while this guy peered over my shoulder and breathed on my neck offering unwanted advice on how to do it HIS way. Inflammable Aries that I am, I obviously had no patience whatsover for this kind of behaviour, so my Mercury-in-Aries hit back at him with the most sarcastic quip you can imagine. Saying he looked shocked and hurt by my reaction is an understatement! He indeed reacted like a crab retreating from a child poking a stick at it on the beach, or as I like to describe the look he has when you criticise him, he goes into “cornered rat” mode. But you know, my Aries pride had been bruised, as I’d actually intended to impress him with MY cooking! Thankfully, he has since never dared to criticise my cooking (it’s pretty good anyway, as it happens), nor has his mother, who is actually pretty intimidated by mean ol’ Aries me anyway.

So, onions. My first ever argument with the man who later became my husband and the father of my two children involved being competitive with one another on something as traditionally maternal as cooking!

Anyway, it is interesting to see how appropriate astrology can be sometimes, as I can relate to you all. I was willing to give a lot to this man and we had an instant attraction, but he’s being flakey and I’m willing to give someone a chance up until a point, but maybe he is a little whacked out. And he has said a few other questionable comments or not being totally direct — like calling his condo a house and talking about his basement, when he doesn’t have one, unless he meant his mom’s place or his storage unit. I pay attention to details and don’t miss anything, so it is good to know that maybe it was a flaw on his part. A cancer guy sounds great though, normally.

contrary to everyone else here, he ALWAYS called me, we texted whenever we were apart and chatted late late into the night.

But the weird thing was, I never trusted him. he had girlfriends before me, and would always speak of them with respect. now, i’m not THAT jealous, but i know my own worth, and i found his so-called respect and fondness for the past as a little disrespective towards me. (oh, and for the record… we WERE planning to get engaged too). Anyways, I got him to open up about his relationships cause a girls gotta know right? I wanna know where i stand, and being a pisces, I hve an obsessive streak to me when it comes to matters of the heart. I need to know that a guy has put his past behind him. Turns out that he didn’t, or couldn’t, or woudln’t. I was also a bit uneasy of his facebook account. He had LOADS of friends and I spotted a fwe on there that didn’t look like friends at all. You know what i mean… women he slept with, found online, yadda yadda.

Anyway, after i got him to out about his relationships, in particular ONE girl who he said he fell in love with at work (he fell for her tears because she had just split up with her boyfriend). Anyway, this girl apparently cheated on him, and broke his heart, and the way he talked about it, was as if he would never ever forgive her. I felt sorry for him, and believed him, I even consoled him saying i would make it all right. He even went as far as calling her his ‘mistake’ and a stinking corpse (!).

But the very next day, I maanged to get onto his facebook account and lo and behold, what do i see ther?? The girl is STILL a so-called ‘friend’. Anyway, I laid into him (verbally of course) and being an Aries in Mars with a particularly nasty Saturn in Scorpio and Capricornian moon, he got the tongue-lashing of his life. He tried to say that he COULDN’T delete friends from facebook.

Being the computer savvy lady that i am, I instantly pulled up a guide and sent it to him. Needless to say, I degraded him pretty badly… but i DON’T like being lied to, and he was a terribly bad liar.

After this incident i told him to delete ALL other so called ex-girlfriends before i saw anymore. I warned him i wouldn’t be taken for a fool. If I show respect to a man and do everything to make him feel like ‘the one’, then i expect the same in return. After that night, i checked the next day and noticed 13 members were deleted. I felt good… but I just had a feeling that all was not right.

To cut a long story short, my senses were going crazy, telling me something isn’t right. Now, being a pisces, i do know the emotional blackmail/ manipulation game like the back of my hand too, and this was something we were both playing to the nth degree. i can’t tell you the secret, but i actually got him to hand over his facebook password. yup… that’s how good i am and the very next night, when we were chatting on msn, i noticed his replies were getting slower. i knew he was messing around with something, so i said ‘if you;re busy, we’ll talk another time’. He said no, i’m talking with my cousin, anyway, i logged into his facebook account and saw that he was chatting to a woman from spain. he was telling her that she sholdn’t contact him on facebook anymore but to come over to msn from now on (no guesses as to why!) and proceeded to talk about how to spend the new year together. dates, flights, airlines.

yeah, you guessed it. it was his bit on the side, coming over to keep him company cause i wasn’t there. But what a way to get caught huh? beauitful, you couldn’t get any better than this.

Anyway, i decided it’s all over and i played my own game on him. i didn’t asnwer the phone for 3 days… i told my parents everything and they unhooked the house phone and they didn’t answer their mobile phones either. HE WENT NUTS!!!!! ABSOLUTELY CRAZY! I lved every minute of it. He realised i’d seen the messages in facebook and got scared that everyone in his town would know what he’d been up to. Anyway, everyone did find out, especially his mum and dad, and they hate him now.

I unmasked him, and now he won’t call… FOR GOOD. trust me… hurt them where there is family concerned and they will NEVER come knocking at your door again. Ruin their reputations, because they value that ABOVE everything else in life.

I have a client that comes to my work once in a while, even if I dont help him he always makes small conversaton to me and will always say something to me before he leaves the store. I have a hugh crush on him and when I see him I get all red and nervous. One of my co-workers tells me to give him my business card but I get all nervous and I never do. I feel that if his interested he should make the first move! What do you guys think??? I want ot go out with him even thought I was so hurt by a Scorpio men before, I just want to be carefull. Can anyone one give me some advise? I very shy by nature. When he approaches I get worst!
