I have known my Gemini guy for about 2 years, been dating him for almost 4 months. I’m a Virgo, we have not butted heads yet, knock on wood. I do remember in the beginning he told me there would be tests, lol. Is it the way he flirts with everything that moves? I still have no clue, maybe it was teaching me to open beer bottles with a lighter, which I can now do, his last gf refused to learn. He confuses me so much, but I love him…

Priscilla – I laughed when I read your post. I dated a Capricorn once, and yes, it was disastrous.

I’ve Gemini Sun-Mercury and conversation is important, though I also have Saturn there which insists conversation about ‘important’ things is even more important…

The dynamic can backfire on the Gemini too, in that s/he can place so much importance on good conversation to the extent of over-reading the relationship. I did that once, believing that if our chatter was that good, there’s gotta be something there. Well, not always.

funny how true it is, the hands part, I dated two capricorns and it ended up disastrous, but talking and intelligence and just good communication skills are very important since I’m a gemini myself and I tend to get bored really fast if they don’t catch my attention

I am a woman with Venus in Gemini..and i dont really go around being in many relationships. I believe in finding the one true love (my Mr.Right)to settle down with. But having said that…the way that i figure out who is the right person is through intellectual conversations with potential love interests. I like to test their intelligence, ask them lots of questions to figure out their inner motives, and i could talk for hours in casual conversations to figure this guy out. Its purely hours of intellectual talks and no emotional talks. Even if i had emotions for him…i would not talk about them till i am 100% sure that this is the right guy for me. If I do talk about Love, it would be about the idea of love…and i’d ask him what kind of person he would fall for, his previous relationships, his plans for a future, what he thinks about me, where he would take me out to and etc. Any body agree with me? Feel free to argue with me…i’d love that too.

Wow I must say that this description of a Gemini woman fits me very well. I literally laughed out loud when I read the last paragraph regarding our fascination with men’s hands and fingers! And I can tell if I want to date a guy within 5 minutes of our first phone conversation. If we don’t have the same sense of humor or he’s boring me on the phone, there’s no first date.
