Should Gemini woman get her hopes up about overseas Pisces military man?

[ad#link]Christy provided a birth time (not 100% accurate, but we’ll work with it!) and writes,

Ok well the last few years have been crazy when it comes to my love life. I’ve been single for about a year and maybe about a month ago i was on line and i started to talk to this guy who is over sea’s and is in the military. I have taken a liking to him. But i know he has a lot of female friends. But before this goes any further i want to know should i get my hopes up?

Your chart does indicate attraction to a military man. Aries — the sign of war — is on the cusp of your 7th House of Partnership. Its ruler, Mars, is in Virgo, the sign of the military (armed services). The house placement of your Venus — which suggests where you find love — is the 9th House of Faraway Places (Overseas).

The day you wrote me (8/2), transiting retrograde Venus in Virgo was conjunct your natal Jupiter. You were probably feeling optimistic and hopeful (Jupiter) about love (Venus), yet also somewhat cautious (Virgo) and hesitant to move forward (retrograde). Venus goes direct on September 8, which is a good time to proceed with new relationships. However, note that Saturn enters Virgo on September 2 and conjoins your Jupiter later the same month, squelching your feeling that there are boundless opportunities. And next year, Saturn will conjoin your natal Mars (signifying this Pisces man), resulting in obstacles toward fulfillment of your desires … or perhaps a serious commitment.

  1. Hi Christy, as a fellow Gemini In know how hard it is to get answers. we obsess over every minute detail. I think this Pisces guy is right for you. Don’t loose hope.

  2. Kristine says:

I am a Gemini woman, who is in love with a Cancer Marine Corps man and it is hard… One of the hardest things I have ever done in my life.

I realizied that it was draining me, I couldn’t eat and or sleep. I would cry every night missing him so much.

Though, he is very loving and his words have a power over me I couldnt forget about myself, if I wasn’t happy, how am I going to make someone else happy?

My suggestion from personal experience, is just keep him as a friend and a close one, give yourself time to grieve and get over the relationship and have him as a friend, it’s better than not having him at all and this way your not so concerned on what hes doing and vice versa.

  3. Well being a gemini myself engaged to a pisces military man. i have been fondling with the same question. it all depends on maturity level. pisces men are loyal hopeless romantics. their only problem is gettin in our bubble..

  4. this is me christy says:

Oh my god. This pisces military man has put me though so much crap. I finnally broke up with him. thank god. He was talking to like 6 other girls. sleeping around and not being honest with me. He would just say they were friends. Done with pisces men. =oP

  5. Im a pisces man, I have dated several gemini women…I wish I could put into words what attracts me to the gemini personality, but I just cant. I know that a good relationship depends on more than where your stars are aligned, but I do not think this is a good combination. There was one gemini that I was together with for 2 years and eventually we split. We loved each other very much, but when everything was said and done, we just couldnt provide to each other the kind of emotional and mental needs that each other needed. I say go for it and give it a try, but I think it is going to be rare to find a happy pisces-gemini combo….good luck to you all

  6. This is nice. I guess good things are looking out for you honey. Go for it! Marry an overseas Pisces! Good luck!
