Do age differences matter? Traditionally, an older man provides financial security and a well-developed life perspective. He may also bring a sagging libido, a receding hairline, and dated pop culture references. However, zodiac combinations tell a more diverse story. An older Scorpio man may not ever lose his sex drive, and young Capricorns aren’t really youthful, anyway. Cap is ruled by Saturn, the planet of aging and maturity. Capricorns are forced to take on responsibility and overcome adversity at an early age, making them more seasoned than their peers. The older Scorpio is unlikely to find a young Cap who hasn’t thought long and hard about what she wants out of her life. Hence, they may both be “settled” to a similar degree.
The older Scorpio male is still prone to jealousy, imagining that his doe is eyeing males her own age. However, he can probably rest assured. Capricorns have been known to cheat, but overall they are a faithful bunch. Besides, she is attracted to her Scorpio man’s power and charisma.

I have noticed that Scorpio men are late maturers emotionally, so this could work. But capricorns often don’t loosen up untill they are older.
I am surrounded by Capricorn. My mom, sister, sis inlaw, bro in law, nieces, nephews.. loads.. With capricorn, they seem to stay young for many years. Rather jaded at a young age though. Immature and rigid I guess it how I would put it.
I havent noticed that scorp males dont mature until older. Its my experience that they seem to born with an eerie wisdom.
I’m a younger capricorn woman and I fell deeply in love with a Scorpio man who was 16 years older. He is married. I wanted to go the distance with him. He wasn’t willing. It took me 4 months to recover when he ended things, which came not coincidentally right after I told him I loved him. We saw each other again 4 months later when I thought I could manage being friends. The chemistry and powerful attraction were still there. He told me he ended it because he was starting to fall in love with me and he didn’t want to ruin his life or mine. I even contemplated the thought of staying lovers because I missed him so much until he told me not to expect even that to be exclusive. Clearly he’s a man who needs to have multiple affairs at once. I find it all amazing. I fell so hard I was willing to change my life. He apparently was filling time before the next lay. And yet, I believe him when he said he was falling for me. However, this Scorpio has told you the truth.He was falling in love wiht you, and did not want that to happen–for lots of reasons.A big one is his marriage.
But, in reality the fact that he cheats in the first place indicates he has difficulty with intimacy.
I mean true intimacy.

All of my life I have not subscribed to astrology; however, as a Capricorn woman in university with a Scorpio lover 13 years older than I (also in university), I find this blog poignant, as I do most things relating to Scorpio/Capricorn.
To encapsulate into one word: drama. This relationship is dramatic is the way that bipolar disorder is dramatic. When we’re together, the aura clicks, the minds click, the souls click in a fierce bond that cannot be denied. The sex is passionate, long-lasting, and fiercely intimate. Friendship is stimulating physically and intellectually. But at the same time, I am a calm and steady person who finds it nigh incapable to lie, and his moods shift like the wind. My heart becomes tied deeply, and his is hidden. Capricorns like to analyze things into the grave. With my lover always exists the wondering to what degree he’s really there, even when he’s the sweetest guy in the world, and so jealously devoted that it hurts. He’s unreadible. They call it mysterious. I call it complicated.
So, to summarize, this couple is dynamite on many levels, but emotionally stressful.

Hi, Scorpio male, 28, interested in Capricorn female, 20: Here’s the deal: You Capricorns are everything we scorpio’s ‘know’ we should be as humans, but here’s the twist: we usually have some kind of history that you simply don’t. We have acces to power that Capricorn doesn’t, but the price is our ability to be ‘normal’. Sc/Sc/Pi here. Am falling for Cap girl maybe half my age. I appreciate the comments here, so will offer up a few of my own … a peek under the hood, so to speak:
I’d rather be alone than be shallow. I’ve turned down many opportunities for sex that leads nowhere. I want a connection that runs deep. And I can only do that with one person. When in a relationship, all my sexual energy is exclusive. I don’t think about other women sexually; what’s the point? But, with my beloved, yeah, tis hard for us to stop.
I’ve never had children, but want them. But, only of parents who are epic in love. And if that means we can’t have children, for whatever reason, then that’s OK, too. There are many ways of sharing a future. I wonder if 40 years of life left is enough to offer. Yes, I think in those terms. My best friend was telling a story about how his Uncle and Aunt died within 36 hours of each other. With our age difference, I can’t offer that kind of continuity; I will be gone before she is.
My twenties seemed like a long protracted adolescence. Was more interested in the ideal versus the pragmatic. So, I lacked the give and take that makes a successful relationship work, preferring the hard truth over a soft lie. After a couple decades of introspection, the hard edges have been worn smooth; the sarcasm has given way to irony.
What I want now is what many people take for granted.

What is happening with your Scorpio? I’m a Capchic too. Read my blurb about mine under ‘how to get a Scorpio to change their mind’…..bec. mine has a girlfriend he will never marry….he was married once for 6 years (no kids), then a girlfriend for 8 years, and now this one for 3 years. I forgot to write in my blurb, that he being a typical Scorpio, is very secretive, mysterious….you said it. REad my little story, then let me know what is happening with your Scorpio. I find that most of these stories are so similar to mine (under all the diff. posts in the diff categories) that I could have written them. I’ve just finished reading through all the comments about the sco/cap connection.
And I have to say that I can verify that I’ve experienced a lot of these same things in the last relationship that I had with a scorpio man.
WE WERE BEST FRIENDS!
He understood me to a degree that I wasn’t even able to understand about myself.
We’d spend endless hours talking over the phone.
There were many times we talked until the dawning of the next day.
I found that I had to watch what I said because he was a no nonesense type of guy and a lot of times he would stop talking to me.
This was such an emotionally charged reltionship, it often drained me.
We’d often reconnect and things would be fine for a while.
He went into the military a year ago and at first he wrote, but then the letters stopped and I haven’t heard from him in a year!
I think about him all the time.
I feel so drawn to him and I don’t understand why I can’t get him out of my mind.
I often wounder if he may be thinking of me or if I’m just obsessed?

first of all, chill out with the judgments…i am a scorp man, had girlfriends all my life, never been single for more than 4 months or so, just finished a 3 and a half year relationship with a lovely libra, but her air element got to me… instead of making love we talked to much, which i enjoy, but sometimes i just want to f*** her brains out… so i dumped her. two weeks ago this happened, now i am dating a capricorn girl, and i tell you the truth, she has something. the deattached, chillout point of view she has on life is really refreshing, most girls i meet, at least according to society now a days, are completly borring, they are girls not women. hook up with bunch of men, get wasted, are shallow and really really dumb or boring… with my cap girl i met her by a friend, she was really interested in me, i could tell, so i just couldnt get a grip on my self and had to have mindblowing pleasures with her. know we are dating and really her energy is refreshing, something i noticed is that i am a very black or white person, if something in a girls attitude crashes with me (she has to take the lead (she is a girl for god sake, my woman, the girl who has my last name, is secure enough and trust me enough as to follow me) also girls who are trash or have a bad taste…not my style) so my relationship with girls i know either fall completley in love (if i sense emotional frigidness i bail out, instead caps ease and patience is maturity… is so exciting). my style of life crashes completley with my cap girl, she is so easy about everything, really mature, and that drives me crazy, since the day i met her and heard her laughter, i wanted to take her to the beach and do very ilegal stuff (thats another thing of scorp man, sex is something so pure for me, but also something so ravaging that i cannot balance it, if i have to have a girl i HAVE TO HAVE HER MIND AND SOUL, i will not take less, girls i finished the relationship with me are usually completley head over heels with that part, i am a very intense person and at the risk of sounding arrogant, i need my match. the cap girls attitude is everything i look for in a girl, she is polite, well educated, interesting to talk to, and so damn insecure i f***ing love it, i just want to f***, protect and love this girl for eternity… cap girls fragility is exactly that i love… for she shows me her real self, and that real self, is what nobody shows now a days (less a scorp) so her honesty proves to me she is for real.

I know that a few Scorpio men are notorious womanizers (well the other signs are doing it too, just not as suave) but I’ve always been lucky enough to be at the friendship level with Scorpios. I know that you guys have a lot of heart, a few go bad due to life screwing them up but in general you guys are the best lovers and friends a girl could have. Your Capricorn Lady is very lucky…..Cest la vie, all Libra women are judged as flakes and tramps and all Scorpio men are judged as cruel and dangerous…..The other signs should really have a look in the mirror sometimes…The most vulnerable of hearts get the baddest rap….

Some of us know more then you would like us to….
Well, that’s basically what’s up: typically other people are jealous. Yeah, scorpios REALLY ARE that good [kinda like an Aries at sports or something]. And yeah, Libras get a bad rap b/c really, they are trying to keep the conversation going for reasons of their own and don’t actually care about the content…..not so much flaky as they have a zillion things going at any one time, and don’t care about the details or follow through of an idea that that came up in conversation: that’s not what they do.
Unfortunately there is a major issue with the scorpio/libra relationship: The scorpio is very focused, even obsessed with particulat objectives, and the libra takes it as it comes….translation: we are too intense for you, and you are too laid back for us. And if it bothers you that the Aries will pull the trigger, we WILL push THE BUTTON. Just as a scorpio will never have the broad mindset that the libra requires, the libra just can’t keep up with the scorp once they move in a particular direction, be it emotionally, business, military, whatever. I see it in my own family and coworkers and had a libra gf once [REALLY good in bed, btw, and REALLY good company before/after, in general actually, you can bring them almost anywhere, just not on the battlefield] but it’s always the same: we choose a course of action, and the libra does something else altogether. Unless there’s some other chart influence, it’s a pleasant BUT temporary arrangement. Now, a libra with strong cap or cancer influence in chart, or vice versa, and you have my attention. Libras are gorgeous in every way. (oh, and flattery WORKS on them, but not so much on us: we NEED you to mean it, because, well, i dunno, we do).
I DO like libras as friends and everything else, but they are not the meat and potatoes of our emotional life. They can run on Deisel, unleaded, super or regular, we need plutonium
As far as the Pisces / Libra thing goes: Pisces have this need to manipulate /control others, but Libra is the master of this, so it’s just a power struggle. Plus, the both like the drama of an argument. The libra likes the debate, and the Pisces are just insane (loooove you) and given that they both have their prefences harwired into them, no one will ever concede a point, so they are better of going bowling. Plus, remember, the Pisces can relate to people by BEING that person, and the libra likes to sit around and converse/debate, add a virgo, and you’ve got a verbal war where it’s not even clear what the big deal is about. Funny though, these signs typically are lifetime friends. But, i’m on the outside of the dynamic, so there’s probably other issues. anywho. Happy New Year
