Makes PERFECT sense to me GeminiDude because i do the same. I avoid saying small things that are pointless in order to avoid an argument. If NOTHING happend, then there is no point in mentioning it.

I say white lies in order to not hurt peoples feelings. But if i know you can handle the truth, then i will tell you straight up, and honestly what im thinking or what i need to tell you.

Well.. I am a Gemini man. And to talk about lying is the question of what is a lie? is it a white lie or a lie to escape yourself from gettin caught cheating? Honestly I hate lying but sometimes I do and my libra girlfriend catches them and constantly wants to know what I am talking about. Ive never cheated but sometimes It’s best to lie if a girl at the club decides to dance with you and you dont want to go through a fight becuase of a small incident that had nothin to do with cheating. You can call that a lie but you can call it saving time and energy for useless talk. I do lie but will man up to my actions if I have done something wrong. Other than that I do not lie. Anyone can cheat and lie about it but if us Gemini’s do cheat we constantly think about the feelings of others and do please them so we end up lying about it to not hurt their feelings. Does that make sense?

I disagree with a couple of points in the article. In my experience, Pisces is not the sign of deception, it is the sign of self-deception. It is the sign that rules fantasy, illusion, delusion, self deception and self undoing. If ever there were a sign of deception, it’s got to be Scorpio.That should be obvious. Not saying that all Scorpio types are deceptive, but I am saying that with Pisces, it’s honesty based on self induced delusion – they really believe it themselves. Scorpio strongly tends to deliberate deception when they employ deception.

Furthermore, all this is based on rather tenuous information. Sun sign astrology (any astrological conclusion based on knowing the sign placement of only a single planet in a chart) is next to worthless. “Gemini will say what they need to say to get the result they want” fails to account for 95%+ of the horoscopic influence.

I have a friend who is a Gemini stellium. She has four planets in Gemini, and she is perfectly willing to rationalize anything into he truth as it is convenient for her – except where she expects to be caught, or she respects someone too much to do that. I have another friend who is a Scorpio stellium, again four planets, and she is willing to deceive at the drop of a hat if it will further her cause. My Pisces acquaintances are all honest in as mouch as they tell what they believe to be the truth, but they may bring themselves to believe something other than reality if reality isn’t comfortable. Again, these are all instances of several planets in the same sign, giving a strong dose of that sign’s energy.

Gemini is perfectly capable of being honest, as long as they respect the person they are speaking to, or respect themselves enough to be above such petty behavior. As are all the signs. Likewise, examples of all the signs could be liars. This article isn’t based on a very well thought out premise.

That said, “Gemini” will sometimes lie to create drama. “Gemini” loves drama and change and excitement. If you can show Gemini sun people who are deceptive that you are onto them and you’re not fleeced for a minute, they’ll typically respect you and stop the BS. It’s a game to them; they want to have fun, and that’s just a way to create drama. Think soap opera.

Im a gemini and i’ll be honest i dont LIE but im really got at lets say “turning the truth around” lol so to take the limelight and blame off me and make it seem like it wasnt my fault – somehow. Most people believe it though i guess im pretty good as pursuasion & story telling lol.

If i’ve been invited somewhere and i dont really want to go i’ll tell the person that im going and about half an hour or so before hand i’ll say i cant make it (and make up a good excuse as to why). I do this because i dont like to dissapoint the person when they first invite me.

Im ALWAYS late. ALWAYS. If im expected somewhere i’ll always be late because i ALWAYS get distracted by something when im getting ready. I just waste time and i lounge around and when theres 30mins left for me to get ready i RUN and get ready so thats why im usualy late. I kinda like to think i can beat time lol. If people haras me about how long im going to be i always tell them a wrong time. For example i’ll ’say im not far i’ll be there in 15mins.’ I really mean ‘i havent left my house, so i’ll be about 30-40mins.’ My close friends have caught onto it haha and now they know the true meaning so like Is_Gemini said, they tell me to meet half an hour before the REAL meeting time to make sure im on time. Its a bad habbit i have. But once i arrive no one seems to mind

Please dont pressure a gemini with time. The pressure stresses us out and we’ll probably forget something. Like our wallet, or we’ll rush our make up and look & feel disgusting and end up having a bad time lol and you dont want an upset or bored gemini. You need us to entertain you

My gemini friend is just like you, i swear you could be talking about the same girl, i’m a sag sun/virgo moon and i can’t stand lateness, it winds me up something rotten, i can honestly say with my hand on my heart i have never been late for anything, ever, i just find it more respectful of people if i/they turn up to an appointment promptly, i like things to run smoothly and i like to make room for errors should they occur, especialy when travelling, my gemini friend doesn’t respect the laws of being on time at all, bless her, she was even an hour late for her own wedding???? she decided she had to go and feed her horse at the last minute??? Those mad mad geminis you gotta love em.

Im a gemini girl.
I don’t know, i don’t feel i lie.
But it could be very well this can feel different for other signs.
I do push it a bit to the limit when it comes to being on time for an appointment (with friends i mean).
I caught myself before saying: I’ll be there in five minutes! on the phone when it was already time.

text people to say i’ll be 15 min late, but actually already knowing i really can’t make it!
But not to upset them i just say i’ll be there in 15.

So if you ever find a gemini doing that:
tell them it is ok, and doesn’t matter (if it doesn’t really, of course) and ask specifically how many time he/she will need.
explain that it is ok to postpone the meeting for half an hour, but that it is nice for you to know that, so you can use your time too.

In the worst case you have to agree to meet at 4 and expect to really meet at 4:30.

I actually hate it when my friends do that, also because i know they are right.
If i don’t feel pressured to be on time, or too pressured to be on time i don’t feel like leaving on time. so i will be late.
if there is no pressure, im just butterflying around, don’t pay a lot of attention on the time.
if there is too much pressure i feel restricted in my freedom.

ive just met a gemini a month or so ago, and im not sure about him, we were gettin on great, i gave him space, and didnt chase him, but yesterday. he had an attack of jealousy. and started on a rant, and just said GOODBYE
I am totally gobsmacked, and dont know what to think or say, I liked a Gemini this time last yr,and that was the same at times, we had spats, but we always kissed and made up, he got scared when we got too close,and legged it, but he came back… BUt this time Im not sur, I thought he was PERFECT ALMOST.. apart from his odd moods,and moaning he was stressed, hed blame me, and i wud be sat laughin to myself thinkin this mans lost the plot, at times especially on MSN, he didnt get the conversation flow,and wud Go abit Doo-lally lol
I really hope he comes back, because he said he had feelings, so if he DOES he will be back RIGHT ? ?? x

I have dated a Gemini guy before, he was so good to me always treated me the way i want to be treated, and he never lie to me, but we broke up as he was cheating on me and he never denies it. i have also met another Gemini again, he is so good, but he sommetimes exaggerate things he is saying to me, i love him though, but sometimes i feel like he can be a bit of a liar.

Recently, i was dating a Gemini man… I’m a libra myself. I found him to be pretty much a typical Gemini, especially with the lying factor! I think he often told me what he thought i wanted to hear… A constant people pleaser! But rapidly he came on a bit too strong, and scared me off with his constant affection and adoration.. Now i don’t normally think those emotions are bad, obviously, but i just felt a little suffocated. Also, despite the idea that Gemini’s are intelligent, i felt i analysed things mentally a little too much for him to keep up… We couldn’t connect on a deeper mental level like my previous Aquarius boyfriend.
