I am so very despondent! The aries Dragon just keeps tearing at my heart, even though he once again told me to F off. He drove up to my place the same night, music blaring and window down, then u-turned and drove off. I know he has been here late at night on numerous occasions, sometimes even getting to knock on the door, but is gone when I get there, or hiding someplace(: I almost collided with his car yesterday, as didn't see him flying along when I first attempted to turn...glad I did in time! I could never forgive myself if anything happened to him...I truly love this man, but feel maybe the fact that I am 8 years his senior is a deterrant for him. I know he likes me, but there id definitely something holding him back...additional to FEAR! We both have an innate fear of each other for the wrong reasons...fear of not being able to back out once we are fully in there I think...as we have both always been single. However, I havent slept at all for two nights as he keeps invading my every thought and my body literally aches and tingles for him...wierd huh? I can't help but think how he feels, as I am sure it is the same, but he won't say. Being a Libran, I really have to be able to talk out things and cannot accept a note saying F off! I need to find the root cause of the problem and work on it...maybe it is the scientist in me(: From other's past experiences, has anyone else been able to reconquer their Aries insituations similar? I am desperate to re-connect and cut down all barriers.

On another note, I suppose I also enjoy this Arian's company because of his adventurous nature. It's a good thing that we're the same age, and during the years of college, there just seems to be a need for letting it all out, and enjoy life while we have it.

@ Xanthe:
Thank you for the kind and supporting words, and I’m glad to be able to make someone’s day. ^_^
Before I go on, I suppose that I do my best in typing because I’ve always liked writing, visiting forums, and I had a few Grammar Nazis for English teachers. xD

Maybe it’s just the beginning stages of my relationship with the Arian, but I actually feel quite happy with him. As I mentioned earlier, we may live in different states, but we talk on the phone almost every other day. We talk about all sorts of things…from what happened during our day, pop culture, ourselves (ex: likes and dislikes), our family and friends, and what we’d like to do and places to visit when we get together again (I like how our imaginations can get a little carried away; we’re thinking about going on a road trip when he’s back from his trip to Japan..I’ve already made plans to go to a music festival with him). It almost feels like I’m talking to a best friend rather than just a guy I like/romantic partner. We always seem to look forward and enjoy hearing from each other.

During the Valentine’s Day weekend, he sent me a dvd set of Family Guy’s Star Wars Spoof, and in return, I sent him a handwritten letter (We called each other when we got our gifts; he says that he keeps my note tacked on his bathroom mirror to read ^-^’ ). Even though he said that I didn’t need to, I’m considering on getting him a funny tee shirt about his favorite sport and/or a samurai sword umbrella when he’s leaving the country. Oh man, I’m probably getting a little off topic…

I believe that you’re right about the idea that every type of relationship needs to be worked out if the two parties want it to work. There’s a girl a few years younger than I whom didn’t get along with when we were children. We grew up together as my mom had to babysit her and she ended up being one my playmates (and in our teen years, shopping buddies, aha!), and now we see each other as sisters (I guess it helped that both of us grew up with brothers). I’ve dated a Cancer, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Virgo, but in spite of being attracted to them, the romance only lasted a short time. I suppose it was because I was inexperienced with the dating world then, (now I don’t mean sound hurtful or rude) but I was especially unhappy with the crab I once dated. I’m quite sure that he wanted it all to work out but we did not spend much time together (I guess it didn’t help that fact that we lived different lifestyles – he was in the military and I was in school ), and when we did, I was quite bored with his insecurities and stalemate conversations. I especially felt turned off when he kept trying to win me back (he even gave me a set of jewelry on my birthday…which we unfortunately share; maybe we’re just too alike, or not.). I suppose I was the other half not wanting to work it out.

On the topic of astrology. I guess I've, not always, but mostly been attracted to guys who were class clowns or were just out going in general (or were at least a bit more on the romantic side). The Arian far from a class clown, but I really enjoy his energetic and hard working nature (I think his moon is in Capricorn...it's funny how we share half of the cardinal signs on an opposite spectrum). He's definitely different from the guys I've been with, and I even feel a bit positive thinking about him. Perhaps it's not so much that I've "conquered" this Arian, but I think he may have conquered me...from what I've read, Cancerians of late July tend to have a very small intimate circle of friends, and at the time we met, I wasn't quite ready to enter in another boy/girlfriend relationship.

I conquered an Aries.. well 90%. I worked hard but it didn't take effect in time to keep me from bailing. And he waits.... and waits... and waits....
and now 25 years later.... I am free. Now what do I do?

His friends all called me "the ONE" or "that devil bitch". He almost had me back 15 years ago, but I ...serious... had a seizure caused by the plane flight and it took 3 years to recover. And I was too chicken to re contact him.
HE found me last year.
25 years ago we was peas n carrots. But his background had him gunshy on marriage and terrified to have children to "mess up" whereas for me...
Marriage is more than just a piece of paper or moral issue. It is protection of the partnership from outside affect, both literal and legal.

He wants me to "come home". Teenagers, 4 yr old, loser status of present, crazy X with OP, legal battles and all. LOL a rescuer complex? cept it only ever applied to me.

He is kinda stoic and earthy for an Aries. And my Leo moon and Sag Venus&Mars seems to influence me more than air or Grand water trine. I am a sporty, combative Libra.
Question... so should I trust in him? He has been so persistent. He is the most loyal and trustworthy friend I ever had and have. I could ALWAYS run to him. But always ran away. Until now.......
Is an Aries that has decided you are "IT" really that solid? Or am I an unfinished conquest that gets under his skin subtly?
We made memories for a lifetime that have colored EVERY other relation either ever had. He went for dopplegangers that disappointed and I went for total opposite nutbags. And now we ran all the way around and slammed into each other.
Brush off and move on? Or push over and kiss madly?

@ Lily, let me just say that post of yours, about you meeting the Aries guy at the anime convention, was such a pleasure to read (not least because you're one of the few literate people one can come across on the internet nowadays - why has using proper spelling and grammar and punctuation suddenly become so unfashionable?). I couldn't help smiling all through your story, haha. Guess what: I'm an Aries woman married to a Cancer guy! We even have two children together, a 2-year-old Aquarius son and a 4-month-old Libra daughter. People are always astonished to hear of our astrological combination, Aries/Cancer. But honest to God, it CAN work, and it does. I've dated another Aries in the past, as well as a Gemini, a Capricorn and an Aquarius, but it was a Cancer I ended up marrying. An astrologer friend told me that against all the stereotypes, our sun signs both being cardinal. Also, both of us wishing to create something solid and long-lasting (the Aries will be good at kick-starting the project and the Cancer will methodically follow it through right to the end). My husband and I really feel like we have a common project going, and it sounds like yourself and this Aries guy could pretty much could easily fall into the same constructive attitude with one another. Once sensitive Cancer gets over Aries's Neanderthal ways and realises they're actually pretty harmless (Aries never has a hidden agenda - what you see is what you get), very few sun signs will conquer an Aries's trust as Cancer can. Aries are terrified of not assigning their trust in the right person: we're as innocent and in need of trusting someone unconditionally as babies are, which is what makes us so vulnerable when someone betrays our trust. Once you Cancers decide to love someone and let them under your outer shell, no other sign can reassure an Aries that you're REALLY as dependable and consistent and protective of your loved ones as you seem. I have honestly never felt safer than with my Cancer husband, and at the same time I feel as if I can protect HIM against the kinds of things that he tends to be vulnerable about.

One risk is that Cancer may eventually become a little predictable for Aries, so this may get us to stray. But there's also that solid Aries loyalty which will prevent us from doing so for a long while... not until we've REALLY tried to make Cancer understand that we're getting restless and need the relationship to be more stimulating and exciting than it is. Against all the odds, I really think you and this Aries guy can work out together. Please keep me posted! :-)

Glad to be of assistance...you go girl! I wish I could have the same luck with the Aries I truly love...he insists on living in denial and refusing true friendship. Hopefully, the squeeky wheel will be heard one day(: I am patient(: My last name means 'tenacious of purpose' and I have Aries/Taurus rising with Libra over-riding to blow the flames...he's in for a long fight(:
